The Strat Hotel & Casino – Renovated Rooms with Some Drawbacks
I recently stayed at The Strat Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and had the chance to experience one of their newly remodeled rooms. While the renovation aimed to modernize the space, there were a few aspects of my stay that left me less than impressed.
Room Quality and Cleanliness
Despite the updates, the room felt a bit basic and lacked the luxury one might expect from a renovated space. The room also showed signs of heavy use, including torn carpets, dinged-up furniture, and non-functioning items, such as the bathroom fan. These issues were disappointing and made the room feel less polished than anticipated.
Service
Service quality did not meet expectations. There were two of us on a business trip, and the bathroom fan didn’t work. We called and requested a repair, but no one bothered to call back or fix the fan during our entire stay. It felt like we were completely ignored. In hindsight, we probably should have been more persistent with our complaints to get any action. Based on this experience, I’d rate the service quality an F.
Overall Impression
While The Strat offers affordability, it’s essential to manage expectations. The remodeled rooms, though updated, may not provide the comfort and luxury one might expect from a newly renovated space. While it can serve as a budget-friendly option, the lack of attention to detail in both the rooms and service left much to be desired.
