Excellent
The town is so much more than the caverns - nice dining options from upscale to a nice bakery to a food truck/distillery and more + interesting shops. The music venue is a lovely surprise, and plenty of trails for walking/biking. A gem!

Luray is exactly what we expected. A very nice quiet little town. We visited the DC area a very busy area on the same trip. This was a welcome end to our trip. Luray Caverns were beautiful and Shenandoah National Park was a treat.

Needs some form of local transportation, there's no taxi's, Uber, Lyft, bus, train, and rental cars are difficult to find.
