I grew up as a kid in Big Sky skiing 47 years ago, this year they turned 50. The place is amazing, if you love to ski a season pass is paid for in a week. The chair lifts and now the Tram make for an elite experience, and have some pricy places.

Best in class lift infrastructure. Solid and very large resort for the whole family - with long runs for all levels.

Quiet village scene and family friendly. Big Sky has become one of my favorite ski resorts. Even with only a 25-30in base, the option of runs were endless.

Be mindful of off season closures. The Lodge at Big Sky closes their bar and the Sky Line shuttle service stops at 6:00 PM. I'm sure many other hotels limit their services also, and possible a reduced pricing reflects this. 9/30 - 10/4 2024
