"The property gives you high luxury in the middle of nature. But what makes the place exceptional is the services given by staff. They treat you like VIP from arrival to check out.

"The island is idyllic - Robert and his team provided a great service. The food was good (but wine expensive!). The swimming jetty is very rotten and the steps into the lake have disappeared so swimming is very difficult (unless you go through the mud). The cottages are different sizes and the showers vary in quality. The beds were very comfortable. Despite the slight negatives (and I am sure Robert will be on it when he reads this) we would definitely go again and stay a little longer than the three nights. "
"Nice properly with beautiful green natural surroundings. Staff for dining were very slow. Buffet items were finished or cold when we got there and no effort to refill. Lunch only given choice of a la carte while others had buffet with lot of choice.Hans kept refusing any orders we requested as vegetarian including making a sandwich which despite explaining thoroughly he got it wrong. "This was our first stay in the hotel and we were very impressed. The hotel room, welcome from reception and staff and customer service when dining for both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Special shout out to Stephen and Nixon who looked after us when dining in the restaurant. Although this was a base for travelling, we made use of the spa facilities which were also excellent. We will definitely be back again."
