"Very comfortable hotel with a touch of class. Piano in the lobby bar was nice, but a bit loud, if you wanted to sit, sip and talk. Great breakfast! Close to shopping and evening dining. We would return again. This is the only place to stay!"

"A beautiful castle just off the road to Hamburg.
Service wise, almost great. Only real let down was the exceedingly expensive breakfast that was really not worth the €30 that for 3 people almost felt like extortion.
Some cold fish, a few cheeses and some tired looking charcuteries.
Pancakes were fine as was the scrambled egg and bacon.
But an extra €12.50 for Eggs Benedict, come on, that really is taking the biscuit!
Also, had never heard of Rooibos tea, wich really was surprising for a place...

"It’s a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting right on the River Maas. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Our Superior room was huge, and had views over the river, our son had a Comfort room, smaller but still a nice size and both had amazing large white marble shower rooms with walk in shower. No kettle to make tea, but luckily I had spotted that in another review and took one. Coffee machine. We ate in the Michelin star restaurant and had an excellent meal, flambed at the table....

We had coffee & breakfast dinner at the restaurant & the coffee & food were of great standard. A big shout out to Tino, Sebastian & Philipp for all of their assistance during our 3 day stay. Location was excellent for doing sightseeing on foot, getting to restaurants and supermarkets. "
