1 week before our arrival we were told we were being moved from the Caprera we had booked to the lower grade Channel View Hotel nearby due to double-booking. However, we received no price reduction to reflect the lower grading. Disappointing, as looking at the web details for both hotels, there is a clear difference in quality (and that it without getting in to reviewing the Channel View Hotel, which is not relevant to this review).

Mediocre at best with no service.
The greeting at the door gives you an indication of what you are in for. ‘Please arrive between these hours......, please phone mobile for assistance, no alcohol allowed’.
The person who greeted Kevin and myself was the babysitter as there is no Reception area. This is not a Hotel as advertised.
Although clean the bathroom amenities needed attending to as the shampoo container had been empty for a long time.
Mediocre at best and I will look for a proper hotel next time.

Poor service - great beds
In/out checking has no flexibility. No storage of luggage if you arrive early or leave after 10AM checkout. Breakfast between 8.30-9.00 if you book at their hotel Sea side view.
Needed to ask for towels as there were none in the room. Got them on 2. request.
Caprera consists of 5 roms in a private home, which was ok.
Best part - awsome beds. Slept like a baby.
