We stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. On our first night, there was an issue with our reservation. We had booked and paid for two rooms, each with two queen beds, but the hotel was unable to accommodate this. The front desk staff blamed a third-party booking site for the issue, saying it “didn’t turn off” certain options — but if you’re going to use third-party platforms, the integration and oversight shouldn’t be this difficult. Mistakes happen, and I can understand that, but the handling felt a bit disorganized.
To make up for the inconvenience, the staff offered a $50 credit and arranged to have the sofa bed made up. Unfortunately, they couldn’t guarantee that we’d get the rooms we actually booked for the following night but asked us to check back.
The next day, we followed up as instructed. The front desk again told us no rooms were currently available and said the manager would reach out. Later that afternoon, the manager did call, apologized sincerely, and let us know they had two queen rooms available for us to switch to. They also said they would be investigating what went wrong, which we appreciated.
Despite the rocky start, the hotel itself is beautiful. They offer complimentary bottled water and a thoughtful toiletry kit (including a nail file, cotton balls, shower cap, and makeup remover).
