I recently stayed at Lelux Hotel Montreal with my family and had a very disappointing experience. We had booked two rooms (Room 304 and Room 305). Upon arrival, we found that the air conditioning in Room 304 was completely non-functional, making the room unbearably hot and unlivable. Despite raising the issue immediately with the front desk, no alternative solution (such as another room, portable AC, or even a fan) was provided, and the staff could not reach any manager for assistance. We were forced to check out of Room 304 because it was impossible to sleep there.
Room 305, while slightly better, was also hot and uncomfortable, and none of us got proper rest before our long trip back to Saskatchewan. The windows in both rooms could not be opened, and the overall handling of the situation by the hotel staff was unhelpful and dismissive.
Given the conditions, I am requesting a full refund for Room 304 and a partial discount for Room 305. It is unacceptable for guests to pay full price for rooms that do not meet basic comfort standards, especially when no solutions or apologies are provided.
Unfortunately, this stay left us exhausted and frustrated. I would not recommend Lelux Hotel to others based on this experience unless management seriously improves their customer service and maintenance standards.
