Inn at the Arch is a disaster

Completely run down. Shag carpet very old and had many stains. Television did not work. How it got a 4+ rating is a mystery! Hotels.com should do a better job vetting these properties.

If you can sleep anywhere, you’ll love it.

Quaint, older motel with awesome views, but if you are seeking a good night’s sleep, hard pass. Older construction makes conversations next door or up stairs easy to hear. Road noise from HWY 101 drowns out the ocean waves. Ambient light floods the room after dark, even with the blackout blinds pulled, and the green blinking light from the smoke detector, well, that’s a special feature. On the positive side, easy walk to Depoe Bay businesses and restaurants. Beautiful private beach, large rooms, and simple breakfast included. Note: steep ladder/steps to the private beach is not for the frail, young children, or those bothered by heights. It is worth the climb.

Room looked recently upgraded and it was clean and nice...we had a couple minor items to report, but owner was helpful and took care of it. The building is old, built in 1949 or so, and the walls are thin and resulted in hearing some noise from other rooms. Overall, we love the location.
