The villa is a lovely property that offers a good alternative to a hotel stay. The walk from the station is perfectly doable, but the number 4 bus might prove an easier option (if lugging suitcases) that leaves from directly outside the train station and stops immediately outside the villa; buses run every 15 minutes, so there's no wait time. Our room was large, clean and well furnished, with a balcony that was an unexpected bonus and a great place to relax on. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the leaning tower through a residential part of town, making this a great base to use if visiting Pisa. The host was absolutely lovely too.

Comfort in Pisa

Just one night after arriving at the Pisa airport. Time to climb the Leaning Tower and go for a delicious dinner via taxi. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hearty and tasty and overseen by a delightful young woman. Served on a cozy 2nd floor patio. Best prosciutto of entire trip (and that is saying something!). The bed was THE most comfortable (and that too is saying something). Apparently, our bed was very new, per staff. Location very convenient to the Field of Miracles. You cannot go wrong here.

La chambre et salle de bain était vraiment très bien tant sur le confort que sur la propreté. Malheureusement c'est très bruyant ! C est une très belle maison ancienne mais le double vitrage est insuffisant, il y a de la circulation, une poubelle à verres en dessous et les horaires de dépôts n étant pas respectés nous avons été réveillés plusieurs fois.

Défraîchi et manque d'entretien

Les wc n'étaient pas propres à notre arrivée. Il y a des insectes ecrasés sur les murs de la chambre. La pression de l'eau dans la douche est faible il faut un temps infini pour rincer ses cheveux. La contenance du ballon d'eau chaude est insuffisante pour 2 douches consécutives. Il y a un voile d'ombrage pas très propre suspendu au dessus des tables dans la salle du déjeuner. Il n'y a pas de motorisation au portail, il est très lourd et frotte dans les cailloux de l'allée. La largeur du portail ne convient pas à tous les types de véhicules.

This was the perfect place to stay in Pisa. It took us less than 15 minutes to walk into the city centre. The villa is beautiful, and our room was very big and clean. Probably the best place I’ve stayed in Italy. I wish we had stayed longer than one night
