Words cannot do justice to describe how beautiful this location is. We were absolutely stunned when we arrived not only by the beauty of the surrounding area but the building itself. The property is large and has tons of beautiful gardens and ponds to enjoy while you stay.
The food is also absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. We really appreciated the staff and their service while we were there.
I highly recommend this stay!

This place is an absolute dream. So relaxing and the gardens are beautiful. The staff was hospitable and explained our dinner and breakfast patiently. The area is in a quiet little town and a couple vineyards that allow you to taste a small collection and bring wine back to your room. Amazing experience!!

The property was amazing. The private onsen was perfect for the family. The area was quiet so there wasn’t much to do but stay in the room and relax. The food was amazing and it seemed like it wasn’t enough, which is not true. We were full at the end of every meal and so were the kids. AMAZING.

Such a beautiful ryokan - both modern and traditional at the same time, with lovely koi ponds and beautiful gardens. The kaiseki meal at dinner was fabulous, too! Weʻve stayed at so many ryokan in Japan (we live here!) and this one rates among the top. The price is really reasonable for such a beautiful property.

They were extremely accommodating to foreigners or people who weren't fluent in Japanese. The room was beautiful and extremely clean and the private onsen was amazing. The grounds in and around the hotel were beautiful, they had koi fish all throughout the facility and beautiful trees and structures. The staff was kind and provided good recommendations for food in the area.

Expedia does not have accurate information concerning check-in and out information. There is also a shuttle that you can take to and from the train station, which should be taken advantage of. Aside from that, the facilities were really clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a great experience.

Overall are greats except the staff.
Overall are all greats except the staff. English are not welcome here. Only one staff can barely speak English. Staff are not helping. They stood still and watched me to load my bags from my car. I have to carried all my bags, park my car by myself. Unlike my previous hotel, Oni No Sumika, Izu. I just parked my car in front of the hotel and their staff did all rest. They parked my car, load and carried all my bags to my room.

Gorgeous ryokan experience
Absolutely wonderful ryokan experience. The setting is gorgeous, with each room looking out into its own private rock garden area. The breakfast is an elaborate Japanese style meal with tons of interesting dishes. The onsen is lovely and hot. And finally, the ryokan setting is quite convenient to the Isawaonsen station (15 minute walk but the hotel will shuttle you back) as well as the five lskes region (30 mins by bus to Fugikawaguchiko). Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic ryokan experience with easy access to Mt Fuji region.

Fantastic traditional Japanese inn
Although looking fairly ordinary from the front, this inn covers an expansive area with separate wings and a large, beautiful enclosed garden. The rooms are traditional and very spacious with AC and TV, though no internet access. The large, outdoor public baths are very relaxing and peaceful.
The only issue which marred our visit was a misunderstanding between what we booked on Hotels.com and the hotel. We booked for 2 adults and 2 children (4 Japanese futon beds), but they only had the booking as 2 adults with the kids sharing the futon. After I explained the booking was for 4 futon and the issue needs to be sorted between the hotel and Hotels.com, they quickly accepted my view and laid out the extra futon. Just something to bear in mind.

for the ranking and price of this hotel, the room is pretty dirty. the only good part of the this hotel is the food, and garden view.
