Yosemite lodge stay
We loved everything about what Yosemite had to offer. The accommodation was in a great location and was very comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues but that didn’t impact our stay.

The place is needing a full refreshment. It was the most dirty and dusty from hundreds of places I've stood in the last 10 years. The restaurants are good but the room itself is in very bad shape. To be able to sleep in the park you have to get it and they know this. Very low concurrence in a concession resulting in low value for your money.

Yosemite Valley Lodge
This is a great location in Yosemite Valley with easy access to trails, attractions, and food service. The Canyon Cafe, Starbucks, and Mountain Bar were directly across the road from our lodge. The Canyon Cafe was very disappointing. The food was cold or had been sitting under warmers for too long.

Location, location, location.
Great location in the middle of the valley, walk-able to trail heads and beautiful attractions. Clean and good housekeeping. The accommodation is super dated. Doors to exterior didn't work, and caution tape around our porch area? TV didn't work, but unnecessary in YOSEMITE! Heat didn't work, we had to sleep in our winter layers! I told the desk about this in the morning as we got back late from stargazing and didn't want to move rooms late. The desk gave us two complimentary breakfast tickets even thought there were 3 of us in the room. I didn't want to have a negative interaction so I didn't protest. Paid nearly $400 for this room, very disappointing, would of been nice to be comped a night in the future or for that one since the reason opted for the splurge was for comfort in the winter for my kids.

The rooms need some TLC. Carpet needs to be replaced and the mattress were not very comfortable.

Very dated and beat up accommodations.
It's Yosemite but this place is in serious need of a facelift. We stayed in the Aspen building. This was a flashback to the 80's. A lot of things were beat up and did not work. Sink plugged. Toilet leaking. Poor lighting. Beat up furniture. Need to run the auxiliary heather if you don't want to freeze. Given the amount of money they charge you think they would have accumulated a remodeling fund since 1982. Probably the worst hotel room I have stayed in in 30 years.

Electric problems
The electricity went out while I was sleeping and I use a CPAP. So that is why I didn’t give a higher rating. Otherwise it was an amazing hotel experience.
