I combined a mini spring break vaca with a visit to my mom in assisted living nearby and stayed Thurs-Sat. I love the location of this hotel. It's still small-town Waukesha, near everything, yet right by the highway. (I grew up in the area and years ago lived right around the corner in Pebble Valley, which, by the way, has a decent park.) The continental breakfast is very good here with a waffle iron, good bagels, and a variety of other options. I spent some time both days on the treadmill and in the pool. My dog was welcome and there were no issues there at all. The bed was comfie, there was a good TV and many channels. The room had many outlets, a fridge, and microwave. The shower was awesome with both a shower head and a handheld! The internet connection was perfect for teaching a few classes. My room looked out at the parking lot and highway but it was amazingly quiet. Instead of driving 3 hours here and back in a day to visit my mom like I've been doing, I'm going to be staying the night here. It's so affordable that I will be back very soon.
