One with nature

My stay was absolutely wonderful, the staff made sure i was comfortable. This hotel is truly beautiful with sounds of the ocean, a big beautiful balcony, and views of the jungle. My favorite part was the lunch they packed for me when i checked out early before breakfast.

Properly well located, in front of Playa Negra Beach. Have wonderful gardens and friendly staff. Our room was nice, but had transparent ceiling were sun heated really fast, making hot to be. Had no air conditioning. Recommend make sure the room you choose will comply with your needs.

The hotel was conveniently located close to a beautiful, private beach. The staff was friendly but dining staff was very very slow. Wifi is very weak here. Nice rooms but without air conditioning. Make sure to bring earplugs for the road noise and birds.

The staff here is absolutely incredible! Everyone was so helpful and kind. Definitely want to give a shout out to Jessica and Timateo who were amazing! The breakfast was great. Lunches and dinners were delicious. They have a beautiful area to dine in, multiple bars, cool fire pit, lots of little nooks and crannies to chill in, and they are right on the beach, you can order right from the beach and receive your food and drinks without leaving Paradise, which is absolutely phenomenal. Definitely worth the stay, will be back next time I'm in Costa Rica.

The place was beautiful and relaxing and the staff were very nice and friendly. What I didn't like was how some of the rooms had AC and a TV and others didn't and there was no form of entertainment. The food was excellent but I felt there should be more than one meal included in your stay not just breakfast and if breakfast was the only meal included you should not have to pay extra for more.

Beautiful place but not prepared for no AC

Beautiful place but I wasn’t expecting no AC. Had to leave the doors open and sleep under mosquito netting. Ran out of hot water pretty quickly and the roof leaked onto the bed during the night. Great food and nice palapas on the beach. Water had huge waves and a strong current.

Pros: conveniently located beach front, staff are great, the landscaping is really beautiful Cons: your experience will vary widely depending on which room you are in. We stayed in 3 areas: ocean room, villa 2, and the las brisas apartment down the beach from the main property. The ocean room gets very hot--it does not have AC and is like a sauna during the day. The villa was lovely--you have a private pool, the space includes a kitchen and great AC. The las brisas apartment was terrible--it was moldy, dingy, and has a bad sewer smell. Out of all the rooms, the las brisas apt was the very worst--we didn't actually book it, the hotel put us there after they gave the room we actually booked away to someone else.
