If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and safe hotel near the Aquarium, Centennial Park, or the World of Coca-Cola, this is a good choice! I've noticed lots of comments about the parking situation: yes, it is expensive. However, it is clearly stated on their website and on their Hotels.com page that parking is valet & costs $55 per night.
Pros:
- Convenient location within walking distance to many attractions and some delicious restaurants
- Excellent customer service
- Free breakfast
- Felt very safe
- Nice views
- Late check-out
Cons:
- Some aspects of the room were a bit worn (loose electrical socket plates, a patch on the ceiling that was missed during repainting, chips and dings on the furniture, etc.)
- Some mattresses need replacement
- High cost for parking
I wish I had gotten the name of the young lady who checked us in. We had originally requested a higher floor when we made our reservation, but at check-in, we were assigned a room on the second floor. I asked if there was any way we could have a room higher up since our 5-year-old was very excited about being "high up." She was incredibly accommodating and switched our room without hesitation. The customer service was one of the biggest perks of this hotel; every single staff member we encountered was kind and extremely helpful—from housekeeping to the staff working the breakfast buffet to the front desk. For that reason alone, I would stay here again without hesitation!
