TOTAL DUMP AND HORRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT BOOK!

HORRIBLE PLACE! DO NOT STAY HERE! THE DOOR TO OUR ROOM HAD A BROKEN LOCK AND THE MANAGERS DID NOTHING AND WOULD NOT REFUND OUR STAY. ALSO THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL DUMP!!

Bend hospitality

Nice king bed. Just right firm mattress. But a bit high off the floor. Short people problems. Tall step to get into the room. Very small bathroom, tight quarters. Friendly staff.

We have stayed at the Royal Gateway many times. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. This last particular time we had reserved a kitchenette months ago. When we arrived we were given the wrong room. Even though our reservations said kitchenette, theirs did not. This was not an Expedia error, it was and OYO error. They claimed they had no vacancy, but it did not seem the rooms were full any of the nights we were there. :(

Extremely terrible. We arrived at the hotel and we're told that our reservation was canceled even though I didn't cancel my reservation and it didn't skew canceled on my app. I called expedia to see if my reservation was canceled and they also confirmed that it was not canceled. The man was very rude, he just told us that our reservation was canceled and just closed the service Window and walked away. Me, my husband and 2 kids were forced to continue to drive over 6 more hours to our next hotel due to no vacancies in the area , after already driving for 12 hours. I made my reservation months in advance. We have been on vacation for 2 weeks and stayed at various hotels and have had no problem with any of them, until this one. This is completely unacceptable. They put us in a dangerous situation by leaving us with no place to stay for the night and we were forced to sleep in the car at rest stops on the way to our next hotel while being exhausted. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I would give no stars if possible.

Horrible

When I book this room, I had been looking at several other rooms so when I actually confirm the reservation, I did not realize at the time that I had only scheduled it for two adults. When I arrived with two children, I was shamed and yelled at for bringing them then I was told I would be charged $100 extra for them to stay when I asked why and said that that website never stated it would be an extra charge if kids were brought and I had the option to rent the same room for four people with no extra charge why it was an extra charge. She yelled at me to get out and take my kids with me and ripped up my reservation then Proceeded to check me in and acted like I was staying there. As a consumer, I would suggest taking that hotel off of your list to not bad name your company. They have all sorts of shady stuff going on. The experience was absolutely disgusting and I would’ve never ever booked there if I knew I was going to be treated that way . I was so glad that the people across the street had an opening as I came from four hours away to stay at this hotel for an expo in Redmond thank you for listening to my concern from one truly disappointed customer.

I had an awesome time at this motel. I stayed for almost 2 weeks and it was the most pleasant and nice room for the very inexpensive price I paid. I appreciate the staff and want to thank them for making my visit wonderful.

Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else

They take a $100 cash deposit not chargeable on a credit card. Only after the front desk comes to check your room they will give you the deposit back. If they find any small thing, they will keep the deposit. There is a small heater in the room and does not heat up the room at all. Our shower was completely frozen. Stayed less than 15 minutes and left
