8/10 Very good

Great host lovely breakfast property rather tired.

The owner was welcoming and breakfast was good. Bed comfortable and very peaceful. Quite a few cobwebs evident and shower fittings in need of attention. Lovely to have tea and coffee making facilities with the added bonus of a biscuit. Outside area needs a good spring clean. We would stay again as very conveniently placed.

Rural yet not

I had a fantastic stay. The gent who owns the property was friendly and welcoming. And made sure that everything was ok a few times during my 2 night stay. A delicious breakfast. Perfectly situated for exploring the area and a bit further beyond being just off the A303. Lovely country environment. Definitely recommend and definitely going back.

Excellent in all ways

This was a great location. The service was first class and the breakfast was of high quality. Be careful about following Google maps to this location, it took me along very small country lanes when the property was only two minutes off the main road. Highly recommended. Thank you

6/10 Good

Great for a one night mid journey sleep over

Friendly reception ,paid and went straight to bed left before breakfast so not really able to give a full feedback. It was good for a stop over not sure I would want the say for more than a day but it is good value for the money and I may well use again.

6/10 Good

OK for a night

Shower ran boiling hot and cold. Floor dirty and you can only lock hotel room entrance from inside the room and not outside.
Eva, 1-night trip

It was a basic but comfortable room. Was cold on arrival but heating came on for a short while before retiring. Only a one night stopover. Breakfast was very good and could not fault for value for money

The shower in room 2 runs very weak and goes between piping hot one minute then cold not a contant temperature.

4/10 Fair

Very basic

Room was very cold as central heating not on. Stone walls and floor and my wife shivered all night and caught a chill. Although it had wifi it had no internet. Decent breakfast.
