Loved the location of the property. Arrived half hour before check-in and was told room wasn’t ready(no big deal) and that they’d call when ready. Went back to check in half hour later and sat in lobby for another half hour waiting for an attendant at front desk. Watched numerous people try to check in as well. Room was not like pictured on booking site… was on ground floor and very dark, dated, and had strong odors.

Not worth the money, parking is a joke

The property is fine, but dated. The parking here is terrible on site parking is $26 a day and you better be driving a small european import. They also have a predatory parking enforcement that will ticket you for having a tire on the yellow lines. I paid for a parking space all three nights I was there and third night when we got back to the resort the lot was full. I had to park a block away in another parking lot that cost $50 for the night. The deal from hotels.com was one of the best in the area, but after all was said and done I would have rather stayed at the holiday inn express.

The Sundial Lodge had everything we needed - a full kitchen, fireplace, washer/dryer, a king bed, a whirlpool tub, ski storage including a heat warmer for boots, an amazing view, and a location that was central to everything. Sundial lodge is the most convenient lodging to stay at in the Canyons village. It's not fancy, but it's clean and straightforward. If you are looking for convenience, this is the right place -- next to the gondola, ski school and walkable to all the Canyons village restaurants and shops.
