I thought the room was really excellent and the details, from the kettle to the shower were really top of the line. My only complaint was that the super inviting walk in shower, with the giant shower head, had very weak water pressure - it was a real disappointment.

Clean, quiet location. Walkable to breakfast joints and Deke's Market/Deli. Comfortable bed. Love the kitchenette. High ceilings so the room temperature stayed on the cool side. The Panasonic microwave/oven was high performance and allowed us many options for reheating some foods like our Hawaiian rice and crisp up our chicken katsu and leftover pizza. Perfect idea! The bathroom is also high ceiling and didn't get steamy from the shower; there's a window to open if that became a problem. Love the rainshower head, but we could have used more water pressue than the gentle rainfall it gave. We felt the room was too cool for us when we arrived but had a hard time figuring out the controls on the thermostat and ended up turning it off. The room never got stuffy even though we did that. We also had a small problem of ants crawling up from behind the bathroom sink one night after returning from our outing and contacted the staff right away. Great communication! They made plans immediately to come and cleaned out the problem area the very next day. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

I have stayed at the Bella Notte several times before but the experience was new this time. Rooms and the property have received a refresh, with clean, contemporary decor. Beautiful large room with kitchenette, well appointed, large shower. My room was on the second floor, closest to the street, yet the noise was not noticeable. It was quiet and peaceful. This, as well as the incredibly comfortable bed, led to a very restful and comfortable night’s sleep. The new hostless check-in system worked just fine and communication from the property manager was complete and very clear. Price for the Monday night stay was incredibly reasonable for the high quality of the room. Easy walking distance to the beach. Highly recommend for a stay with easy access to amenities and local sights. Walking distance to coffee, restaurants as well.

our stay was superior..well located to beaches....and harbor, room was large and high ceilings,,(second floor room) large and high end tv (even my wife was impressed..had a bit of a problem getting the wifi going(my fault) after contacting the management issue was cleared up immediately! ie. the password...would definitely stay at this property again if in Santa Cruz....tx so much pc
