Great value for the price I paid. I needed a no-frills low cost place to lay my head for the night and this place fit that bill. I would stay here again with out hesitation.

Room was adequate, internet did not work. What saves this property is the indoor pool, it is great for families. Location was somewhat off the beaten for us but as ok.

This is my preferred hotel when travelling to the Louisville area. You will not find a better hotel in this price range. Also it is just 5-10 minutes across the bridge to downtown Louisville. Clean, nice rooms, quiet and safe.

Staff was great and very helpful but property was not as advertised and the amount of pot smoking inside the hotel was just horrendous especially when traveling with young children.

Place was nasty and the refrigerator was leaking and had a rag in the bottom of it and has mold on it!!! All I have to say is don't stay here and if you do get your money back!!

We were confused and when we booked online and called everything was going to the radisson, we did not know we had reservations at the derby hotel (big difference) although it’s under change and a bit confusing it was overall a good stay. The kids absolutely loved the pool!

Pool was nice, room needed a little work, overall à good stay for the price. Only problem I really had was when I rented the room it stated that there were queen sized beds in the room, but they were full sized beds. We really needed the queens, so we won’t likely stay here again unless we only need one king bed.

Pool is connected to the radisson which is very nice however the derby suites look sketchy and run down. Pictures are very misleading, it reeks of smoke when you walk in. Will not stay there again.

Draperies are ripped throughout as i closed them. Pillows are about the size of my hand. The shower felt like it was about to rip out the wall and the shower head sprayed half the water to the ceiling. White residue on dresser and side table. People smoking right outside the door.

Pool was closed, there was a shared pool with hotel next door. But had to walk all the way around to be able to use it. The whole hotel smelled like burnt plastic, the rooms and showers were filthy. Our bed sheets were white but covered in stains.

This whole place is not good and safe feeling. You don't check in at the lobby. The check in was in a random hallway, the door was locked some random person let us in. The area that used to be for the soda and ice machines was turned into the check in desk. No computer, no bell, nothing but mold growing on the wall. My wife and did not stay at this hotel. We left and went some place else. Now I'm fighting to get my money back.

This hotel falsely advertised, all the great things you see about this hotel is actually the hotel it’s connected to. There is no breakfast, the pool is in another hotel there is not even staff at this hotel, if you need anything you have to go to the other hotel. Rooms very outdated and dirty. They were knocking at the door for us to leave at 9:30 check out was 11. We was not able to get in our room till after 4 making us very late for the event we paid over $300 to go to! Never ever again everything you read about this place is false. You have to stay at the Radison to receive any of this!

I booked this for my friend to come down for my birthday party. They treated her horrible, tried to charge her a deposit for a room I'd already paid in full, talked to her like dirt and insinuated she could leave if she didn't like it, the room was lacking basic amenities, the property was filthy and smelled of weed!

Not giving them a total 0 rating because the staff was nice and helpful. But for one, the photos for this hotel are a dupe. It was once apart of the old radisson behind it and those were the photos used. Do not go based off the photos posted. This hotel needs to be torn down and redone in my opinion. They seem to try their best at keeping it clean, however when the hotel itself looks sketchy it’s hard to put a coat of paint over it. Cigarette butts everywhere. The bathroom facets were coming out of the walls. The sink was leaking on the toilet paper underneath. All of plug outlets are rusted and look like an electrical fire waiting to happen. No room has a microwave in it. Only one in the hotel lobby sitting on a stand for everyone and anyone to use. They provide coffee packets but no coffee pots in the room. I will say at least the air conditioner worked properly. I guess there was a reason it was so cheap. We only needed it really to sleep. Which was the main purpose but still sketchy. Curtains have holes in them. I did not tell the manager or anyone about this as considering how the rest of the hotel looked, it’s not like anything could be done. Also have usb board sitting over the sidewalk waiting for a lawsuit to happen. A lot of money needs to go into a new makeover for this hotel. I will make sure not to stay there again.
