Kasa/Mint Tampa has agreed to reimburse me for the first night due to being unable to access. Directions were very confusing and the internet kept jumping and deleting our info. Parking was clear, but there was no option to pay to park by the hour (only for a day until 11 am check out time). We wanted to stay in the area and come back to the car later, but it would have been another $50+ dollars. We were forced to leave the area. You have to park a couple / few blocks away. No where to drop off your bags at a covered area. No way to stop on the road and unload. Be prepared. It was a very clean and modern place. We will definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best (and most unique) properties we’ve ever stayed at and we travel a lot. Unlike a normal hotel room it had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a bed that raised up into the ceiling when not in use, converting a bedroom instantly into a living room. The building had a nice plunge pool with a common barbecue area. Entry to the building and unit is by codes so no checking in and out. No messing with keys. It was conveniently located to downtown Tampa (walking distance). I would absolutely stay here again if I’m back in Tampa.

i never received a link to check in online prior to arriving at 2am and had to get a 2nd hotel for 1 night, i emailed and texted the 24hr number and received a response the following morning once i did check in had issue with the door code, once all of that was sorted it was a great stay

Property was clean with good amenities. I never got a check in email day of so when I arrived at midnight, I didn’t know I had to have done the online stuff before to get the code. Had to figure that out while on the phone which was inconvenient but everything else was great! They are more responsive on WhatsApp than text FYI

The good side: Laundry supplies are there for you to use for free. Limitless. Washer and dryer are large so pretty convenient. Kitchen has silverware, plates, pans but no seasonings. Just salt and pepper. Coffee maker worked all right. Coffee supplies are limitless as well. No access to gym but just the pool which is pretty nice outdoor area with a grilling area you can use anytime. Now the horrible experience which made give a poor rating: First night was a nightmare because a smoke detector started beeping at 1am for 30 minutes. After that every other 4 hours until the end of my stay. I told management, maintenance, property customer service and couldn’t help to avoid the beeping. I told them it was the heater that triggered the smoke detector but they were saying it was people cooking inside their units but it was not. I asked for a refund and they only gave me $100 back out of almost $700 I spent. Also you have to pay $26 per day for parking across the street so whatever you save for not staying at a hotel you spend it for parking. I will never come back here. I am very disappointed.

The idea of everything automated and no staff seems like a good idea but misses the simple things an actual human may need. The only trash can in the room was the tiny bathroom one, though there was a full kitchen you could cook in. Late at night I dropped and broke a glass. There's no broom in the room. I texted in the morning and there was a response but they would charge $66 for housekeeping services. I had a six year old in the room. I had to put down pillows to section off the area that had glass to ensure my child didn't end up with glass in her foot. Or pay $66 for something to come with a broom. At least one staff member should be onsite.

It was very high tech and cosy! The bed was extremely comfortable and it was very well decorated.

Overall the property was beautiful and in a nice location. However, due to everything being virtual including the check in process, I’m not sure who is managing the property to ensure everything is in good order for the next tenants. The Floor was a bit dirty. The last tenant looks like they spilled something and it never was cleaned up. There was also a shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom but there was no conditioner in the bottle. Lastly, bathroom main light did not work. Shower light and mirror light worked but not bathroom.
