We enjoyed our stay at Casa Sulla Laguna, the room was clean and had everything we needed, the staff went out of their way to help including the lady at the desk helping us with our luggage up two flights of stairs. Our visit to Italy included three different cities and these accommodations were the best and our host (Claudio) was the best, he was very friendly and went out of his way to help us, including reserving us a Water Taxi and recommending restaurants, etc. We highly recommend these accommodations as they made us feel like part of their family!

Claudio and his wife are great hosts. Our room was clean and cozy. It had the essentials as well as an iron & board and tea kettle. AC was appreciated too. The apartment was right down by the water. Walking distance to everything.

Excellent location and for this little hotel. 10 mn from San Marco in à very quiet place with room overlooking a garden. Claudio and his wife are very helpfull. The room was beautiful and clean. We strongly recommend the place.

This is a PERFECT STAY if you have the same needs I had. If you: 1. have been to Venice before 2. are revisiting for the Biennale 3. want to stay on the island 4. want to avoid tourist crowds 5. don't want to splurge This place is P-E-R-F-E-C-T East of San Marco, right next to a bus stop, inexpensive, aircon works, wifi works. If you are trying to create some kind of "romantic" or "epic" Venice memory then this place may not be a match for you as the rooms are just "functional" and it has no door on a canal for you to arrive or leave by taxi. But for me it was perfect. The desk is not 24/7 manned but the staff will be pro-active in trying to get your arrival time from you, just be sure to meet them halfway and everything should be smooth.

Claudio and his staff we absolutely wonderful. I would stay here again and again. The property was easy to find with Claudio's directions. It is located in a very quiet area. We were quite impressed with rooms. Very modern and clean. I wish I was still there....

Casa sulla Laguna is a comfortable, peaceful, clean and complete place. Claudio gave us easy directions to find the place and even gave us excelllent recommendations in restaurants, grocery markets and navigating the area. We got the room up the third floor and we had a surprising view of a lovely garden on someone's yard. That was a plus. As we were relaxing outside on the provided chairs and tables along the alley with our wine, the missus gave us some small snacks to go with our wine. Very friendly and accomodating. We will definetely come back to this place.

Claudio and staff made our stay memorable. He is very personable. He messaged us day before arrival with directions from the water taxi to the hotel. He provided details such as grocery store and restaurants just steps away. He even walked us to a restaurant away from the tourist area one evening. This hotel is in a great location. Close walk to attractions such as Doges Palace and St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, as well as water transportation. We stayed in a larger room with garden views. It was comfortable and spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and clean room - the tea/coffee making facilities & fridge were a welcome touch. Peaceful location away from the busy tourist areas and yet only a 10 min walk from Piazza San Marco. Claudio & his wife are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended

Beautiful large room with white walls and an exposed wooden beam ceiling. A fantastic garden view. A very comfortable bed. A large bathroom with a rain head shower. Last but not least, my hosts, Claudio and Lidia were so wonderful.
