1. Room on upper floor- no elevator- left to struggle with large bags up a set stairs followed by the obstacle course of doors in corridor that lacked the capacity to stay open 2. Bath/Shower combo Great if you are able bodied enough to hurdle over the bath to use the shower then fight with the plastic sheet that attacks Ensure that this triffid is draining into said tub as floor does not have an additional drain- definitely not to any plumbing code. Hotel/motel designers please note 3. Air conditioning unit had an annoying rattle that miraculously fixed itself in the morning It was once said that if you think that one person cannot change the world then spend a night in a room with a lone mosquito 4. Staff were pleasant and cordial - just people doing the best job they can Ok place for stopover Nothing much around it

It's not a five star resort, but it's comfortable, clean, everything works, and the staff was beyond helpful. The bar is nice with a large menu (the food is good, not great, but definitely hits the spot) and cheap drinks, albeit from a limited drink menu. Internet access was easy, although we did opt for the £6 daily high speed option since my daughter was doing remote school . My only real complaint was the lack of plugs along the bedside wall. The only two plugs available are next to the TV on the far side of the room, which is not convenient for phone charging.
