Lovely views across the harbour from our room. The room was quite warm as the window has a restricting opening safety device. A good fan had been added thankfully. Breakfast was great - plentiful and varied. Staff were all lovely. It was in a good position to access restaurants and pubs.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were in the middle of a heat wave and there was no a/c but that was expected. The window only opened a sliver (not helpful) but the room had a very nice desk fan to keep the air flowing (very helpful). The location was good. There is a great restaurant in the hotel and many shops and food sources within easy walking distance. The Dover Castle is just above.

Needs a lot of work on everything, customer service, house keeping and everything. It’s very reduced service and feels cheap. Soap in bathroom is low quality, noise was crazy, breakfast is expensive.. restaurant attached to the hotel is ok.. nothing special look for better food and service. Overall stay somewhere else… wouldn’t recommend or stay again..

The kitchen was closed when we arrived. Later service may be appreciated. Our room also had a very squeaky floor so I pity the people below us. View was beautiful and shower was hot, bed was clean and fresh. Staff were not always at their post at the front desk but we never had to wait long.

The staff is absolutely amazing! They go above and behind to help everyone with kindness and patience. The property isim need of some repairs. All of the lifts were down. The gentlman checking people in was offering to carry everyone's luggage up the stairs for them. There are 4 flights! The water in our shower wouldn't turn on but the sink was fine. So, we were given access to an additional room to shower. The staff makes up the difference for the needed repairs.

Hotel is rather rundown and shabby. It is clean though. I paid for a family room one queen bed w a sofa. I was traveling with my brother so he could not stay in the same bed. He graciously slept on the couch. He went to talk to somebody on duty and they seem like they were going to raise the rate that we paid for a lesser room. I said no, I did not. Anyway, the staff was rather rude and the room was not what we paid for.

While our room was decent, our overall stay was terrible. We stayed with two young children with an early ferry in the morning. All night we heard loud banging and sounds from the room that was above us. This woke my children up. When we spoke with the front desk at 2:00am they said it ‘was just a Friday night and people were returning from the pub’. The sounds in the room above us were all night. This was an absolutely terrible stay with staff that seemingly didn’t care that someone in other room was being loud and keeping other guests awake.

I had two rooms booked one of the rooms was not cleaned when my party checked in open the door and had to down and get another one. My 2nd room was for a family room and I ask to have one on the,channel side so I could get the air off the water. I u deist d Europe is under a heat wave but need to have enough fans for each room. If you do not have a/ c would be nice if had windows that open enough to let in air to cool the room off

The hotel was very clean. Staff was wonderful. Some basic amenities were missing. EG. No phones in the rooms. Missing items such as enough towels, mini fridge and no AC. The AC probably isn’t needed. However, we spent 2 1/2 days there during a heat wave and sleep was pretty much impossible due to the heat. The one small window will only tilt out 2-3 inches. Very little air made its way in. The attached restaurant was great especially their wait staff. Sam was an incredible credit to the restaurant. She was wonderful.

Had a comfortable bed and good sleep in a quiet room, delicious & non-greasy breakfast, smiling, friendly and helpful customer service. Closest distance to walk to both the White Cliffs of Dover and Dover Castle. All at a good price too. Thank you!
