"The resort is stunning and the staff universally friendly and helpful. Rooms and are comfortable with ample storage. We loved the generous noon breakfast cut-off, the bike rental policy (same bike for your whole stay), and the fair two-hour limit on reserving pool/beach chairs. Our anniversary was recognized with a bespoke gluten-free cake and sparkling wine — a lovely surprise. Special thanks to the wonderfully patient Nino (bikes) and the whole breakfast team — especially Sasha (best waiter ever), Sandra, Bobanna, and Karmen, ALL of them exceedingly competent, service-oriented, and friendly. And Radojka: when my celiac Adam was accidentally served gluten pancakes, she owned the error honestly, apologized repeatedly (even though we acknowledged our responsibility in not reminding staff) and remade the batch past cutoff. Negatives: most critical - our flight from Mostar to Zagreb was cancelled, forcing a stressful, lengthy rerouting by bus from Mostar to Split, late flight to Zagreb, and expected arrival at MM at 1am on 7/23 rather than 6pm on 7/22. We desperately wanted to cancel the 1st night of our 4-night stay, rest and stay that night near Zagreb airport, so made the request to you. Management first agreed, then reneged on letting us delay check-in by 1 night, leaving Adam at 71, to drive hours through the dark night exhausted — an unethical reversal. A requested mattress topper never arrived despite 3 asks, and the key card panel malfunctioned (a minor issue)."
