A bare-bones place getting somewhat shabby, but otherwise clean and OK. BUT it's the cheapest place around. San Miguel itself is not worth stopping at, and your dinner will likely be a taco joint.

It was a nice affordable place. Paso is expensive so if you’re traveling on a budget then it is what it is. The owner was friendly and helpful.

It's a very expensive area to stay in. Most places cost way too much, so if you need a more affordable option while you are in the area, stay here. It's not much to look at, but the bed was comfortable enough.

other than it felt like a Heat Sink in the center of room 28, that the air conditioner could not keep up with, it was a good stay. My late wife and I would regularly stay when needing to just get away, and I will continue to do so

Overall a chill place, friendly management. We don’t enjoy how corroded the shower head was. We wiped how the counters and drawers as a precaution.

The location is clean but there is a reason they don’t show what the rooms look like. The rooms are clean but everything is very dated and looks like something out of a horror movie. If you can get past that then it is worth the price.

Einfaches Motel, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Schließanlage funktionierte nicht, so dass immer ein Mitarbeiter die Tür mit der Generalkarte öffnen musste. Keine Annehmlichkeiten an der Rezeption.

The man working the front desk was very helpful. He provided all the amenities I asked for, as well as directions to local restaurants

The desk person was very helpful and nice. The room was not clean at all. The bathroom was filthy. We did not use the coffee maker or cups. It was the last room available in the region or we would have left. $200 poorly spent.

It is clearly an older property. But the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, even though it is right off 101 it was quiet, the bathrooms are stocked with very nice towels, unlike what you usually find in less expensive motels. The showers were warm and had good water flow but could use an upgrade (but they were clean). I stayed for three mights while on a hunting trip and will stay there again. San Miguel is pretty much a wide spot on highway 101 just north of Paso Robles. Our double room was well under $100/night. Since we were out all day the lack of amenities like a pool or breakfast.

My key didn’t work, staff member refused to give me a new room. Insisted I get staff to open the room I was in every time with a master key, when I wanted to get in. Would never return.

Beds weren’t very comfortable. Bathroom was the worst. I’ve stayed in in many many years. Made me long for the old two star chain motels along the highway.
