This is an older, unkempt property. The room numbers were written on yellow Post-It Notes above each door. I was in two different rooms due to a mix-up. Neither one had soap. The woman running the place asked me how much I'd paid for my room when I came out for breakfast on my first morning, even though it had come with my room. It took nearly ten minutes to explain to her that breakfast was included regardless of how much I'd paid.

WORST STAY, WORST SERVICE.
I’ll avoid this place at all cost
They don’t care about providing a good service, they just want the money from customers, we had the worst experience ever with this hotel and the manager who just shrugged his shoulders when I out right asked if he was the manager. There was no breakfast even though the booking clearly shows there is breakfast included. We had to argue for 10 mins to get breakfast which was just an omelet and a stale baguette.
When we checked in the manager said this is your room for tonight, tomorrow you will be upstairs. We agreed. The next day when I asked for the room change he said he will be back at 12/1 and if we were going out, just to pack all our things and he would move it. We didn’t trust him so we stayed in till 1 pm just for him to say there is no other rooms available.
When we were chatting to hotels.com to see if I can get a refund as it was a none refund room, the manager offered to show me 3 other rooms. Somehow he managed to get 3 empty rooms in the space of 40 mins.
We checked out and checked into a hotel which was absolutely fantastic and closer to town.
The interaction with this hotel and staff really ruined my experience of Laos. I would 100% never recommend this place. Would have preferred to camp along the Mekong than this place.
