I should have noticed that this listing appeared in the section where all my filters were not met…the important one being Air Conditioning. Perhaps the hundreds of reviewers that rated this choice as Excellent came at a different time of year. The property is in an outstanding location-just a few steps from one train station, where we disembarked, and a short walk to the bus we needed to find tomorrow morning.

Good space for a family room, but no AC and just one fan made the August night very warm. Friendly straff and a nice breakfast. Excellent location for everyone taking the Bernina express from Tirano. The restaurant is good, too.

Conveniently located within steps of the train and bus station with restaurants nearby. Quadruple room (sleeps 4) was a tight squeeze with 2 adults and 2 teens but doable for a night. Shower walls could use a good cleaning. Restaurant was tasty and most staff were friendly. One server was obvious in her dislike for Americans.

Nice property very close to train station and restaurants. Very clean and friendly staff. Badly in need of air conditioners. The heat was unbearable and all we had was one small table fan. Also nobody at reception overnight in case you need to get anything, e.g., an extra fan. Seemed to be be eco-friendly but the hand soap provided was so small it could have been mistaken for an 800 mg Lipitor pill.

The one night stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The fact that it is locted right next to the train/bus stations was the best feature of all! It is an older hotel but kept clean and tidy. The receptionist was efficient and very hospitable. We told her we will miss our breakfast due to the 6:50 am train we had to take. She took the initiative to prepare two to-go bags with snacks and drinks for us. However she forgot to inform us to check out the night before departure because the desk would be closed until 7:30am! This little oversight caused a small panic for me. At the end, I just left the room key with a hand written note on the receptionist desk. Hope this will all work out at the end.

EZ nicht zu gross, aber alles vorhanden. In WC/Dusche hat es an nichts gefehlt, Chapeau! Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Grosszügiges Restaurant, man hat Platz zum Essen. Und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.
