The staff were probably the most welcoming I have encountered. They did everything to make sure my visit was good and I felt as if I was some sort of special visitor. The pub and restaurant also served outstanding food. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This was an excellent place to stay central to the many visitor attractions e.g. Felbrigg Hall, Sherringham, Wells next to the Sea etc. The Public house was welcoming, staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. It's definitely a place to return to. The bedroom was large and very comfortable with plenty of refreshments available. The bathroom was clean and the shower of a good size. Plenty of towels were available and we slept well on the comfortable bed. The breakfast was great there was a good choice of cereals, jams, bread and croissants. This was followed by a cooked breakfast of our choice. The Sunday lunch was fabulous with great crunchy roast potatoes. The homemade pie was also very nice. Can't really fault it at all a great place to stay and eat at.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. Our room was beautiful, clean & everything we needed, tea & coffee were provided along with bottles of water. We ate in the restaurant that night and our meals were great, I had homemade curry, hubby had pie. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place to stay, we will return.

Such a unique hotel! Loved the pub downstairs. Staff and patrons were very nice and fun to talk to. Breakfast was amazing… not only the usual buffet of food, but you could also order off the breakfast menu, everything included with your stay. Our room was small, but fine for a night; the bed was comfortable.

We had a great two night stay at The Wheatsheaf in West Beckham. A quiet, clean and very comfortable room. Lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to choose from. The cooked breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and all freshly cooked for you. We also ate at the pub in the evening, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the cocktails. Check in was easy. The staff were really lovely and could not have be more friendly, welcoming or attentive.

Warm and welcoming hotel...excellent!

A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Neil and Heather

Our stay at the Wheatsheaf

We have had a lovely stay at the Wheatsheaf. The room was perfectly located and equiped with everything we needed. Although, it was cold when we first arrived it soon warmed up. The toilet/water system was very noisy but there was always hot water. The beds were very comfy and provided us with a lovely night's rest.
