We stayed for one night in a room with an ocean view. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spotless and in excellent condition. It was on the smaller side, which was fine for an overnight stay; if staying longer, I would recommend a larger room.
All the staff were friendly and welcoming. There is plenty to explore in the immediate area, including the Officers Quarters Museum and the Dog Line. A little further down the road is Do Town. Within a half‑hour drive you’ll find so many interesting places, including the scenic route up to Boomer Bay and then Marion Bay. And don’t forget to stop for oysters at Blue Lagoon Oysters.
