Theoretisch 5 Sterne Hotel, praktisch eher 3-4. Alle 4 Laufbänder im Gym kaputt (nur gehen möglich). keine Wasserflaschen erhältlich im ganzen Hotel (man bekommt nur im Zimmer 2pro Tag und dann bekommt man nach Anfrage Gläser mit 200ml). Alle Restaurants mit extrem eingeschränkter oder keine Kapazität in der Terrasse (man muss fast immer drinnen unter der Klimaanlage essen). Man wird gefragt 20mal wegen Allergien aber das Personal hat keine Ahnung was die Zutaten der Speisen sind (nicht mal im Frühstück angeschrieben). Vegan schwierig.

My wife and I travelled to Mexico from the UK and spent 12 days on holiday at this resort. We had a wonderful time. We did not pay to be privilege guests and this did not impact our holiday at all. The resort is adults only and we were so surprised at the wide range of ages at the resort and how well the hotel caters for different needs. The hotel has three pools. The first has more activities and music, which consistently had a large crowd and wide age range of guests. The second is a little quieter but used for aqua spinning and volleyball which again included a wide age range of guests. We hung around mostly by the lazy river and bar for the laughter as people floated around the gentle current and passed through man made waterfalls of cold water. Thanks to Carlos for bringing all our drinks with a smile. The variation was great for whatever mood or age. The resort has six restaurants. We heard moans from people about not everything being open every night and the buffet only being available for breakfast and lunch. We didn't find it an issue whatsoever, there is plenty to choose from, including for my wife who is gluten free. At every restaurant we were asked for dietary requirements and she was very well catered for. The hotel is beautifully decorated, our room was clean and well maintained. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a first floor pool view suite upon arrival. Lots of space and a huge comfy bed.

I had 2 bookings in total stayed 2 weeks. Despite the reviews this is not a proper 5 star resort. Many of the guests I spoke to, who also had a bad experience were 'bribed by room upgrades signing a document to say they wouldn't leave a bad review. If you are used to 5 star this is not it. There are not enough characters available to fully detail the ordeal at the hotel. I paid on arrival & was made to pay the booking & city tax separately meaning I had to tap my card 4 times, roughly £4k. The next day I was told I hadn't paid enough, and access to my room blocked at 10am, this was the morning after I arrived. I was then I was told I was overcharged & my card details requested for a refund. My assigned butler was not working the day I arrived. It took 3 days to get my welcome drink. My 1st evening there was no wifi in my room, to book dinner when your butler isn't available, which was often, you have to use the app which I couldn't without wifi. I called reception & I was told off for not contacting my butler. During my 2nd booking, I waited 1 hour for my luggage, I ended up getting it myself. The door didn't close properly, one evening I returned to an open room. Another night reception mistakenly called my room @1.30am waking me up. The tiling in the rooms is shocking, body matter stains on the back wall of the toilet. Sink also leaked. All while the hotel was only at 30% capacity. There's more but no space, in short - Stay at a Secrets resort if you want real 5 star.

Subject: An unforgettable birthday stay! We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was perfect. We also really enjoyed the dining—the food was pretty good and we looked forward to our meals. What truly made our stay stand out, however, was the incredible service. I want to give a massive thank you to Allessa. She was truly exceptional and went above and beyond to make my mother’s birthday amazing. Her help and attention to detail meant so much to us and made the celebration extra special. We also received fantastic service from Hector, Mario, Anthony, and Axel. They were all great and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a mixed experience at Ocean Allure. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. If you are lucky enough to have a room with a beach view, it is absolutely worth it. The beach itself is wonderful. Plenty of loungers, relaxed atmosphere, and very well maintained. Breakfast is good with enough variety to start the day well. The coffee at Mike’s is outstanding, truly one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the dinner experience is extremely disappointing. There are not enough dining options, the quality of the food is poor, and the organization is chaotic. Reserving a table is unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. This is not what you expect from a resort at this level. The dinner concept really needs to change, because in its current state it seriously affects the overall experience. This should not be happening at a hotel like this.

This place was just what we needed. We came here for some rest and relaxation and that is exactly what we got. If you are looking for a party resort, this place is not for you! It’s still very new and not everything is complete or worked out. We expected a few hiccups and they didn’t bother us. The rooms: We got a privilege ocean view room. It was worth the extra $$. It was ridiculously spacious with tons of closet space, living area, 2 full bathrooms, and an amazing view. The bed was amazing. Firm but very comfortable. I did not like the pillows. They flattened quickly. Let me just say their air conditioner was set on Artic. Thankfully you can adjust it. The staff: Most of the staff was very friendly, attentive, responsive, and went that extra mile to make sure you felt taken care of. I want to send a shout out to our butler, Andres. He took care of all our dinner reservations and other scheduling needs. Little touches like drinks and sweets sent to the room was lovely. Isua, Emilio, Leticia were fantastic in the privilege pool. Some of the wait staff took a long time getting drinks and stuff (25+ minutes) but we knew with them, it was done! The started realizing we would come at a certain time and already had towels and chairs waiting on us! Daniel at Sakura- not only is this probably our favorite restaurant, but Daniel was absolutely the best waiter we had. This man has waiting down to a fine art! He was just that good! Henry- at the Piano Bar made the best drinks I had

What stood out the most was the staff, Antonio, Janet, Hector, and Maria!! They were all outstanding were their service and interactions! Always in a good mood and wanting to be helpful or have fun! On top of the staff the food/drinks were very good! Privilege restaurant was my favorite! The rooms were Always clean and restocked! Games and activities were fun and very involved! Overall great vacation stay!

Our stay at Ocean Allure. Was great! Resort was very clean and wasn’t over populated due being a very new resort also making it a laid back vacation. Staff were very pleasant. I would like to give a big thanks to Alessa! She helped me make reservations for my wedding anniversary, get flowers, and decorated our room to surprise my wife! Thanks for all your help Alessa!

We had a great stay during the week between Christmas and New Years. Every staff member we met was amazing, courteous and friendly. The room was lovely and spacious with plenty of storage. The pools and beach were perfect. One tip - upgrading to Privilege status is worth it. It is very hard to get a dinner reservation if you are not Privilege, where the butlers make the reservation for you! If you are looking to relax and unwind you will be happy at Ocean Allure!

Originally we booked 3 rooms for 5 people. Few days after making the reservation we wanted to add one more person to the third room. Called, emailed tried to reach out, unfortunately unsuccessful. Expedia was not able to help me, since the only way Expedia agent was able to do it, it was to cancel the third room and rebook it. Unfortunately there was no guarantee that there will be a room available. Therefore advised by Expedia agent to book the flight separately for 6th person and add all inclusive package at the arrival. Since we had a room already it shouldn’t been a challenge. I even went step further and reached out to H10 hotels corporate reservation. They also couldn’t help me since Ocean Allure is a new property and they have not received a training to do so. As per agent on the phone. Since none of my emails not messages ever got returned we decided to add all inclusive package at the property. What a pleasant surprise that was. We got charged $1500 for 5 nights only for the all inclusive package. As mentioned we already had a room booked with one person and purchased the fare separately. That was way too high of a charge for all inclusive only. It wasn’t all. It has been a challenge to make a reservation as a group of 6, since only way to make dining reservations was separately for each room. They also couldn’t make a change to the reservation to show 2 guests on the third room. You would think it shouldn’t be a problem after paying $1500 in addition….

Resort is beautiful! Food was really good, good selection at breakfast buffet, dinner restaurants were excellent. The coffee shop had the best coffee I have ever had at an all inclusive. I would pay money for the mikes latte. Lots of seating at pools and lazy river. Less seating at the beach. Staff is very kind and worked so hard! (Make sure you are tipping them!) Highly recommend this resort!
