Lovely clean motel. Perfect for 1 night. A little further from the main town than expected. But stilll only a 15 min walk. Hokitika is small, easy for a days visit.

The interior was old. The whole motel is stuck in 1988. We requested a baby coat and it was full of stains.

Not value for money location next to ugly building

Staff were helpful. A good sized room but next to laundry. We believe there are possibly people staying there long term. Had to speak to a group of people because there were making loud noise at 6:30 in the morning. OPatio area was little more than a smoking area. A fair walk from town and right next to a rather ugly looking industrial building.

Bel hôtel très bien entretenu. Séjour très agréable. Grand salon avec 2 chambres appréciable en famille. Machines à laver et sèche linge dans parties communes à disposition très appréciable. Seul bémol les horaires d’ouverture de la réception ne permettant pas d’être accueilli quelle que soit votre heure arrivée (ex : nous sommes arrivés entre 13 et 14h, et c’était fermé). Personne de l’accueil très serviable.

Didn’t like his expectation of us , within 5mins he wanted us to pay him( didn’t even get to look at the place ( dirty carpet) then we’re told to be out before 10am. We should have arrived before 2pm!!. Wouldn’t recommend to friends. He had a bulshy manner.
