Instalaciones aceptable así como los alimentos, buen servicio del personal pero pudieran mejorar la calidad de los alimentos, algunas instalaciones están cerradas y le hace falta una remodelación.

Absolutely loved it here. We had the best time. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Good variety of food at buffet and restaurants. We had a beachfront room and it was gorgeous. Highly recommend this place.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the resort. We enjoyed that it was all inclusive and that the drinks were always good. The food wasn't the best, which is why we dined away from the resort a few times. Obtaining transportation was very easy. The housekeeping staff were phenomenal. We wished the pool hours and swim up bar hours were extended, however, the adult only hot tub made up for this. All staff members were friendly and welcoming.

This trip did not reflect the standards promoted on expedia, nor did it meet basic expectations of safety, hygiene, or service. Our health was impacted, our privacy was violated, and we were exposed to deeply inappropriate behavior at what should have been a family-friendly resort. I will be sending a final complaint as well.

The property is right on the beach and has a lovely view! However, the beach is not suitable for swimming. The pools are nice. However, the temperatures varied throughout our stay and the hot tub was not hot/warm. The room was clean and met overall expectations. The elevator was out of service so we had to take the stairs during the entirety of our stay (not a huge deal but something to note). The food was pretty average but there were a lot of options at the buffet. Overall we had a good time, staff was nice.

I want to start off on a good note. Absolutely love the staff. The pool entertainment team were great playing bingo was my favorite.
First red flag was right after booking. I reserved the room through Expedia for myself and my 5 year old daughter, but I was surprised to see an extra guest fee added. When I inquired about it i was given the run around for weeks but eventually I was told the charge was because I booked a single occupancy room which might i add had double beds, which still makes no sense since I clearly listed both of us as guests. That alone should’ve warned me I was walking into some nonsense.
The resort is advertised as “new”, but there’s nothing new about it. I think it was just rebranded with minor renovations(if that). The room is subpar, the chairs on my balcony were ripped, the bug netting sliding door on the balcony was broken. There was a yogurt bottle on the floor behind the night stand the shower water doesn’t get really hot. When i bought all of these issues to the front desk they were able to change the chairs and fix the sliding netting door. They never removed the yogurt bottle which i bought to their attention 3 times I’m pretty sure it’s still there in real time. I eventually took showers in my sister room because her water was hot, but on the last night she had a dead cockroach in her bathroom and this was after her room was cleaned. If your standards are low this is place would be great for you but i would not recommend.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price
I recently stayed at this resort and, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The overall service was mediocre at best. The front desk staff were particularly unfriendly and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone from the moment we arrived. It felt like we were more of a burden than valued guests.
The food across most of the resort was underwhelming—bland, poorly presented, and certainly not what you’d expect from a property in this price range. The only exception was the sushi restaurant, which was excellent. Great quality, attentive service, and truly the highlight of the dining experience.
It’s a shame because the property itself has potential, but the lack of hospitality and attention to detail really diminished our stay. I won’t be returning and would not recommend it to anyone seeking a true resort-level experience.

The property itself is very good, friendly and attentive staff. Clean rooms. Clean common areas, the attention of the waiters in the restaurant and bars was excellent.
I just would have liked to be notified that this property was under renovation, they only have one restaurant open and for the size of the hotel the employees could not cope. The only open buffet restaurant was always with very little food and little staff to serve you.
The restaurants for reservation are always full, I could never book from the app. First the app asked me for the room and when they gave it to me there was nothing available anymore.
The pool bar guys the same, the staff they have super friendly and attentive only that I think they need a little more personal to cover all the customers.
And another note is that I asked for an Uber to go out to places and they wouldn't let them in, I had to walk to the avenue to take my Uber every time.

This being my second time to this resort since the Solaris took over for the Barcelo, I have been very very disappointed. The staff is still amazing and great, but some of the staff members from the Solaris focus solely on members, and I was basically told that if I did not get a timeshare membership that I was a nobody after being to the resort close to 50 times as the Barcelo would I recommend going back no the only reason I would ever go back is due to the staff that have stayed although about 40 percent of the staff that was at the Barcelo have left due to new management changes. Also the changes in the food at the à la carte restaurants is awful twice now I have felt very sick after eating there. I had a girlfriend that got food poisoning, and from swimming in the infinity pool, her hair turned green and their response to this was that it was her shampoo or her detergent since other people‘s white bathing suits also turned green. I believe if we were a member, it would’ve been seriously taken care of but being not members of a timeshare they could care less that is just my personal opinion love the resort for years and years having been there close to 50 times before really thinking again about not going back and going to somewhere else
