The kitchen was well stocked and provided all we needed. We did not use the laundry, but noticed they were high quality washer and dryer.

Exceptional concierge was the only positive mark for Kasa. Everything else is overpriced and overrated. Last minute fight to maintain booking with some shrewd excuse by Kasa canceling booking the day before arrival then after legal threat miraculously finding a “closet” for stay. Not the amenities reserved five weeks before the scheduled stay. Never again.

The staff was amazing! Very informative, helpful in the check-in and checkout process. I would say the only complaint we had was our room wasn’t all that clean. There were dirty rags left in a drawer in the bathroom, debris on the floors, etc.

A very clean room with nice furniture and all the amenities you could want. I loved the gym and the staff was always very friendly. I will 100% book with Kasa again the next time I take a trip to Austin.

Really clean room, great building. Parking was a little rough for my Expedition, but anything smaller shouldn't have a problem. Felt safe and secure. The shower head was probably the worst part. Did the job, but zero pressure even though the spout had a great volume of water and pressure. Overall, a really great stay.

We were told that we were required to check in online by uploading a drive license and adding other personal info. We asked if there was a way to check in upon arrival so as to not upload personal stuff to a website we never heard of. The reply was that the online was the required and only way to check in. Upon arrival, there was a concierge in the lobby that verified our ID and gave us the keys. CLEARLY there was a personal check in experience available, so we were lied to about check in. Checking in online benefitted only the host while possibly putting my personal info at risk.
On arrival the room was generally clean, but the only kitchen towel left us was used, stained and had food stuck to it. The toilet seat in the bathroom was loose. The white noise radio on the nightstand was unplugged.
The location was great, walkable to most things in downtown Austin including UT.
However, For this quality of lodging (and the price that went with it) I expected better than this; I will not be stating at this location again nor at any property managed by Kasa Lodging.

Overall, the stay was good, but there are a few points that need attention.
For example, there was not enough toilet paper—only one roll for a nine-night stay, which ran out and we had to buy more ourselves. There was also no dish soap available for washing dishes.
There were very few towels, and both the towels and the bed linens were not in great condition. The mattress was also not good—we actually had to flip it because it had a noticeable dip and felt very worn out and uncomfortable.
There we’re only 2 hangers for a couple staying 9 nights
That said, overall the building is nice. There is a great gym, the reception staff is friendly, and there is a café attached downstairs—Jo’s Café—which is excellent. Parking was also very easy and reasonably priced for the duration of the stay.

This property is beautiful and the location is ideal. The only issue is that parking will likely not be available as advertised. I went and they were “out of passes” so I had to use street parking which is $39/day so expect to spend additional on parking.b

Parking is ridiculous
The facility was amazing. The parking not so much. It was stressful they have you register with the condo and the towing service. I had management come and check where I parked I was still towed. Why did I give the towing company my personal info and my license plate number if they were going to tow anyways and not contact me ?

My rating is 1. No chair. No table. Only one small night stand with a reading lamp whose switch was almost inaccessible. Translucent blinds that barely dimmed the bright light in the pool area. Uncomfortable mattress. No bath mat. Confusing and limited tv access. Unsettling scratching noises from behind the walls. Rats? Late arriving check out information. If this is what Kasa is about then count me out in the future.

Staff were fine no issue there. Location is very central, took me usually between 10-12 minutes to get around the city. The rooftop has a very nice view of the city, it has a nice pool table too. The room was a studio. Overall, it could’ve been better accommodating. It had no table to sit and eat so we found ourselves having to eat on the bed. Putting the tv on the wall and having a small table with two chairs under is not that complicated. The room was VERY dirty. The floor in the bathroom had hair on the floor form the previous guest. The floor in the unit was also very dirty and it was noticeable. We like to take our shoes off and walk either barefoot or in socks. We had to wash our feet every time we were going to bed. Additionally, the shower floor was slippery. This only means one thing, poor cleaning and disinfecting. The cabinets in the kitchen had handprints. The amenities said it has washer/dryer but it does not function. If you are the type to not mind or overlook these things then staying here is just fine. However, if the cleanliness of the place does affect your stay, I would say skip.

Room was clean and staff very friendly. Parking was good and Kitchen was clean.
The room really needed a chair and also some other things that would make it into a nicer stay for the residents that stay there.

This was such a nice apartment! Very clean,spacious and a great location. So much better than staying at a hotel. I would definitely stay here again and recommend. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly. The views of the city were awesome!

I recently stayed at Kasa The Waller in Austin and had an absolutely great experience overall. The standout feature was the polite and helpful staff—they were responsive via messenger and went out of their way to assist with any questions I had, making the whole process smooth.
A small heads-up beforehand about Kasa being a bit atypical would have been nice; it’s more like an apartment-hotel with virtual check-in, no traditional front desk, and self-service amenities, which caught me off guard at first. But once I got settled, it all worked out perfectly. The room was spacious, modern, and equipped with everything I needed, including a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and comfortable bedding. The location in downtown Austin was unbeatable—close to Rainey Street, Lady Bird Lake, and all the vibrant spots without being overwhelming. Amenities like the rooftop pool and fitness area added that extra touch of luxury.
At a reasonable price for what you get, this place offers incredible value compared to standard hotels. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a flexible, high-quality stay in Austin. Just be prepared for the tech-forward approach!
