Location was great. Bathrooms were fine. The beds are just small so anyone over 6ft may not fit.

Overall a good stay, for a hostel. Rooms and shared bathrooms were clean. Comfortable lounge. Things I wish I’d known: No elevator. Two flights to the lobby, two more to (most) rooms. Rooms have only a bed. No dresser, table, stand. My room had two hooks for coats, my brother’s didn’t. Each room’s ceiling is just mesh, like a storage space. So any noise is very amplified. Bring earplugs!

Very basic. Great location. Cute lounge areas. The rooms aren't rooms though, they are stalls with beds-- no drawers, no hooks, no ceiling. I was whispering on my phone and got shushed by someone in the next stall. Prefer that to noise though, honestly. Staff was nice, responsive. I felt bad, this European couple was yelling at the remote reception dude on the screen. Complaining. I'm like, you realize this isnt the four seasons, my guy... its a clean efficient affordable chill place to crash in a dirty inaccessible expensive noisy city. Totally decent for short trips if you dont plan to be roosting and dont have a ton of luggage. Im happy this place and will stay often.

My room was small this time but I was able to sleep , peacefully , you get one towel but no facial towel ! But other then that,it’s cool

Filthy with rodents. Complained to you and to front desk staff immediately upon arrival, snd still could not cancel my stay there and get my prepaid payment refunded. Had to stay there first night as had no other options but checked out and left a day early. Truly a horrible place, and v. Disappointed with you and the hotel for not refunding my payment.

The room was excellent and the staff was unbelievable. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. I had travelled for about 35 hours straight between car, bus and train to see a dr in NYC. Turns out, by time I got here the stress of journey and cold of train left me almost unable to walk. Head desk guy was so patient helped me to my room, on second floor I fell from a medical condition I suffer from that got worse from being tired on my journey. Head desk gentleman and lady at second floor helped me up. They went above and beyond what I’ve seen at some of the best hotels. All in all the room was clean and comfortable and staff was excellent.

Staff at front desk was very helpful! Help me easy point to my room. My room was clean , Your key is actually a code to your room! You will hear a lot of noises especially snoring at night! Ear plugs are available! Could used a bit more heat in the the rooms ! Bathrooms were clean . And the kitchen area is fine for shared space ! But the free coffee//tea and hot chocolate is a plus !

I know the hostel is ‘budget’ but it was terrible. 1 toilet, 2 showers and 2 sinks between 50 bunks on the floor i was on. Hot water was intermittent. Staff didnt seem to be bothered, the loud noise policy was not adhered too. The floors and general public areas were dirty, the electrical socket was not what id call secure or indeed safe

Definitely a hostel. Pleasant staff, good central meeting rooms, bathrooms ok- I realize it's one of the cheapest places in NYC but but I have trouble imagining the sleeping rooms are allowed.

I knew the rooms were tiny, but I didn't realize they had open ceilings, so you could hear everything from every other room. In addition the overhead lights were dim but never off. It was next to impossible to sleep. The lounge was nice, though, and the location was good.

The employees seemed like great people. It was advertised as a strictly quiet place, but they failed to mention that a club next door blasted music and shook the entire place until 5 in the morning.

A guest brought in a guest and was noisy; Snoring next cubicle which disturbed my sleep as rooms are not sound proofed; of course the hotel would not know such.
