サラエボの旧市街に近い宿
夜遅くにバスターミナルに到着、駅やバスターミナルへの迎えをしてくれるとの事で前日に迎えをお願いしていたが迎えに来ておらず、再度宿に連絡すると料金を払うのでタクシーで来て欲しいとの事でタクシーに乗車して宿に向かう。宿の周りは住宅街で近くにはバス乗り場やスーパー、キオスク又日本大使館や軍の施設、モスクもありました。宿の女性の責任者の方はとてもウェルカム的に迎えてくださり、3泊しましたが滞在中とても親切にして頂きました。又朝食もおいしかったです。派手さはありませんがとてもアットホームな雰囲気で良かったです。

Kandelj Pansion Sarajevo
The staff was very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. The room was quite small, at the attic level with no windows except a small skylight. Also, Hotels.com charged me for a triple room when we only requested a double (even though the hotel had doubles available), for an additional charge of 13 Euros.

Home away from home
This friendly guest house is a short stroll from the Latin Bridge and the delights of Sarajevo's old city. A warm welcome, a basic breakfast, cosy rooms, 24 reception - I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend Kandilj, or to stay their again. I would suggest that you request a ground floor if you can't handle stairs as there is no lift.

Sooo nice!
Great place and very kind and helpful people!!! It is 1 min walk from the old town in a very quiet street, the guys at the reception are always there.and ready to help you with anything!!!

A clean and friendly hotel with 24 hour reception right next to the old town. A great base for exploring Sarajevo and felt very safe and secure. The only draw back was the lack of parking - we had to pay to park our car in one of the central car parks in town.

Convienently located but found it uncomfortable
The guesthouse is very conveniently located in the old part of the city. The staff, also, was very nice and friendly. However, our room was extremely uncomfortable. There were probably dust mites in our bed because I could not stop scratching myself when I was in the bed and had to ask for a change of sheets the next day. The room was awkwardly shaped, leaving little room to walk through it once our luggage was inside. It's a quaint place but I wasn't very comfortable and I don't think I would stay there again.

Sentralt og hyggelig hotell nær gamlebyen.
Et lite og enkelt, men veldig hyggelig hotell beliggende i kort gangavstand fra elven og gamlebyen. Hyggelig betjening, enkel, men god frokost. Perfekt for noen dagers overnatting.

Great little guesthouse in unbeatable location !
I really cant say enough about this place. The staff are a lovely friendly bunch who made me feel very welcome. Location is ideal. less than 5 min walk to Latin Bridge! Breakfast is nice too with good choice of cereal, fruits and omelettes. You cant go wrong with this place so get booked !!!

Superzentral, freundlich, sauber
Das Guesthourse ist extrem zentral gelegen und dennoch ruhig; das Personal freundlich und hilfreich; das Frühstück lecker - besonders das Omelett. Auch das Zimmer ist prima und sauber; nicht ganz optimal: Der Sonnenschutz am Dachfenster lässt recht viel Licht durch. Würde dennoch jederzeit wieder einchecken!

Friendly guest house in an excellent location
My room (single room No 1) was comfortable and clean. The guest house is in a great location, particularly if your time in Sarajevo is limited (only a few minutes walk from the old town). Breakfast was plentiful. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful; I had a 5am start on the day I left and my pre-booked taxi didn't turn up, so Amra walked with me down the road to make sure I found another taxi and was safe.

Kandilj is a quiet guesthouse a short walk from the Latin/Princip Bridge. My room was simple and very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the place finely decorated in traditional style. Would certainly stay there again.

temizlik-cleanless : iyi - good (tuvalet-banyo-havlular-çarşaflar gayet yeterliydi.- wc bath towels were nice) konumu-position : iyi-good (baş çarşıya yürüyerek 5dk ve buna karşın sessiz bir sokakta olduğu için rahatsız edici bir ses yok. - distance from bascarsi 5min to walk and the hotel is inside the street which is not any noisy.) hizmet-service : oldukça güleryüzlü ve yardımcı otel sahipleri mevcut hamza ve adi,size her türlü tur,araç kiralama gibi ek hizmetleride en ucuz fiyatlara ayarlıyorlar. Hotel's staff are very kind person(hamza&adi) and they can arrange everything about city tour and rent a car service with best prices. otel özellikleri - hotels property: fiyat,kalite ve konum gözönüne alındığında kalınabilecek bir oteldir.you can choice this hotel with it's price,qality and position of hotel in the city. kahvaltı-breakfast: kahvaltı oldukça güzeldi,çok güzel omletler yedik. breakfast was prety good we ate very good omlets.

A Treasure
We were greeted in the quiet garden with homemade lemonade and then shown our room. Kandilj is just across the Latin Bridge in the wonderful Bistrik neighborhood. It is quiet and so welcoming. 24 hour hosts ready to help with anything you need. Delicious buffet breakfast. The wonderful cook showed us how to make Turkish coffee. Beautiful walks in either direction just out the front door. Mosque calls and birdsongs just outside your window above the flower-filled planters on the sill. Walking across the bridge after a day in the bazaars, museums, restaurants or markets up the hill was like coming home to a different world. What a perfect place to stay in Sarajevo!
