Family owned, amazing stay and gracious hosts. The co-owner, (Manuel) was helpful planning our stay and was so excited to show us his hotel. From the unique Grotto, its history to the history of Lacarno. His English was impeccable and we felt very welcome and relaxed.

charming hotel, front desk guy was SO helpful & nice. it is hard to find - i stopped at a pharmacy to ask for location, they didn't know & it was about 3 minute walking beyond. to find it, you can walk from the train station (10-15 min) towards the main plaza, keep going almost to the end. on the right tucked in the back, after the shops, is the entrance. only complaint is no tv channels in english. which normally isn't important, except that everything in the town except restaurants closes by 6pm so relaxing in the evening with tv is not going to happen. otherwise, loved it!

Zentral gelegen Zimmereinrichtung entsprach nicht dem Foto im Internet, war jedoch sauber, klein und einfach eingerichtet. Bett bequem. Tv oberhalb Garderobe, mühsam für TV schauen. Gratis ÖV Karte mit Ermässigung auf Museen, Schiff war top. Personal freundlich.
