Some of the front desk staff are confused about protocol. I checked in at 4pm and there were absolutely no towels in the room. When I called, I was assured someone would come in 20 minutes with towels. An hour later, I walked back to the front office and was give. Many pool towels. Two hours later a woman came with a trash bag full of towels and a whole bunch of other supplies that I did not need after she said “you’re the lady that keeps calling” in a way that sounded like I was unreasonable for wanting a towel and a wash cloth. Very strange.
The next night I called what I thought was the office number and was told rudely to stop calling her personal cell phone. She gave me the actual front office number, which I called for 20 minutes with no response. I walked to the front office to find the staff outside smoking. She didn’t have an answer to the question and told me to come again in the morning.
Very strange idea of hospitality.
However, the staff at Northside grind, a deli on the property, were wonderful and the food is fantastic.
I hope the strange experience at the resort property was a one off.
