Let's call a spade a spade—these are motel rooms, not apartments! That said, they are on a par with many motel rooms we have stayed in over the years—better than some and not as good as others.
Our room had a distinct musty smell upon entry; presumably, the carpet had gotten wet at some point. Once inside for a few minutes, you got used to it, but it still assailed you every time you reentered the room.
The owners should probably consider their duty of care obligations and change the "shower in bath" arrangement to just a shower cubicle, before someone slips over getting in or out and cracks their head open.
Little touches were missing, like biscuits with the tea and coffee provided.
The TV is diabolically slow, probably a reflection of the wifi sluggishness. We reverted to our phone hotspots.
