This was our first trip with our bulldog. The staff was so sweet with her! Our room was very comfortable and they had treats for our dog too. Everything was clean and the staff was always making sure everything was to our liking. Lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance too. Quiet area.

small quaint hotel, suite room has smallish bedroom, nice bathroom, lovely kitchenette/dining/sofa area with gas wood stove. Only Negative-- All Stairs. Maybe problematic for ADA individuals. Very nice hotel to stay at , . Room was super clean and had a fireplace very spacious. Super friendly staff. The cafe made really good espresso drinks and has different dinner specials available that looked really good. There was a recent renovation and it was a very romantic place of looking to go with a significant other for a nice weekend. The town of Port Townsend is really quiet and cool to hang out .

The Bishop was a blast back in time. The Victorian vibe and furnishing was well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The Bottle Shop/lobby was fun and provided live music and food in the evenings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And be sure to sit in the back garden where it’s so peaceful among the birds, flowering shrubs and large trees.

Wish the food/bottle service had the option of opening earlier than 8am and closing after 8pm, but there were glasses in the room and the ability to purchase earlier in the day to sit in the garden and drink later in the day. Kids slept well on the pull-out sofa bed and the garden was close enough to the room that our audio monitor covered them, while we had some parent relaxation time. Easy access to the main drag and good deer watching at all hours.

Sweet historic vibes. Outstanding walkable location. Great outdoor space out back. Nice staff. Comfy bed. If you’re not used to noise, the property can be a bit noisy. And though we appreciate ‘historic’, the rooms lean more towards deeply outdated than ‘vintage’. We would go again for the live music and a few drinks. But probably would choose to stay somewhere a bit more off the beaten path.
