From the moment we checked in and we're required to prepay for our stay we felt that something was not right, it took some work but we got it taken care of. Our elevator ride from the first to the third floor was very scary as we could hear popping and scraping as the elevator made it's way up, this happened on both elevators. When we got to our room it seemed nice and spacious, we tried to wash our hands in the kitchenette sink only to find that the faucet was not attached to the sink and there was no soap in the room, there were no towels either. Our 3 year old granddaughter quickly discovered that she could open the hotel room windows that had no safety latch or screen to prevent someone from falling, this is apparently the case with all of the windows. We went downstairs to the pool/hot tub and found a very murky pool, could not see all of the steps to get in and this was the case in the hot tub as well. When we got in the hot tub we noticed that the handicap lift appeared out of order, caution tape hung from a piece of plywood leaning on the wall but what alarmed us was the exposed electrical wiring jutting out of the base of the lift. There were easily 10 people in the pool area mostly children and the tile was wet with water standing in some spaces, this could've easily become a horrible accident.
