It's the perfect place to stay if you want to hike Itasca State Park but don't want to camp. It's about a 20 minute drive from the south entrance. Cute rooms & very clean.

We rented the King suite for 5 days and upon arrival, were intrigued by the log cabin look of homey feel even through on a busy road. The room was very clean with a nice lemon scent. We immediately felt right at home as the King suite had a separate bedroom from the large living space. We were not sure how to contact housekeeping as they definitely didn't bother us daily, however, they were present around the property each to ask for fresh towels and a change of the garbage.very friendly, we would stay here again!

This room was so reasonably priced, I didn't know what to expect. It was great for the price. The mattress was comfortable. The location was quiet, but convenient. The bathroom was updated and pleasant but the rest of the room could stand a little upgrading. The carpet is old and not the cleanest. A laminate floor would really spruce it up. Otherwise, check is was a breeze. They sent us a code for the door so we didn't have to stop at a front desk or bother anyone.

Super clean room and bed comfortable. You can tell it gets a lot of use, tp holder and towel holder broken, light above mirror missing bulb. But it is easy, clean and seemed to be safe area. Parking a little tight.

6/10 Good

The king bed was comfortable. The AC unit worked well and was much appreciated because it was a hot week of weather. The bathroom should have had grab bars in the shower. The toilet seat was extremely low making it difficult to use. Had to use a hand towel as a shower mat. No instructions on how to request replacement towels. Room refrigerator worked well. We didn’t use the room microwave or coffee maker that was provided . We booked for a week stay. This accommodation would be better suited for one or two nights stay.

The room was clean but there wasn't any chairs. Just the bed. Shower didnt have much water pressure. Windows were kinda tough to open. There also wasn't any parking by my door. Price was good for what it was though. Id probably go back

There is no on-site location to check in. You must call the listed phone number to check in. The responding person was helpful and made the process quick and seamless. The room itself was clean and spacious. I have two critiques, though. 1. Temperature control didn’t work, which we discovered when we tried to turn the air conditioning on 2. The curtains are not blackout curtains and let in light. When the sun rises at 5 AM, the room becomes light, too.

No organization for parking Staff: no one on site, but they answered the phone or called back quickly. Friendly Cleaning staff-friendly and gave us items we asked for, due to a 4 day stay Had two rooms, one air conditioner didn’t work, but could be operator error, but cracked windows during the night. Did not hear people in the adjacent rooms Could hear trucks going by, but barely. Rooms were clean Loved the beds, all three of us slept well. Beds were soft, not firm. Rooms had a mini-fridge with separate freezer. Microwave. Did not use WiFi or TV. 4 minute walk to the Great Northern Cafe

Conveniently located on the main road through town. Shops, restaurants, convenience stores within a few minute walk or drive. Reasonably priced - fit my needs well. Will likely stay there again, if the opportunity arises.
