Hotel molto bello e arredato con cura. Ha un terrazzo con una vista spettacolare. Le camere sono spaziose e dotate dei confort necessari. La colazione è buona e il personale molto gentile. Unica pecca è che si raggiunge solo a piedi facendo una bella salita (non adatto a chi ha problemi di salute o non è abituato a camminare). Questo lo rende esclusivo ma faticoso da raggiungere soprattutto se si intende uscire e rientrare in hotel più volte al giorno. Diciamo che è adatto a persone "sportive". Ma una volta arrivati si gode di un bellissimo panorama, anche dalle camere. La piscina (che è ancora più in alto) è bellissima.

Beautiful location! Stunning views. Staff were very accommodating from the beginning with finding them and understanding as it goes in Capri with the stairs and climbing that is inevitable. Rooms were clean and pool was nice.

Bien que l’heure d’arrivée soit prévue à 15 h, la réceptionniste nous a accueillis avec le sourire et nous a permis de déposer nos bagages dès 9 h 30, ce qui nous a donné l’occasion de profiter pleinement de la randonnée de la boucle du Mont Solaro. Le dîner a été un véritable moment d’exception : une expérience gastronomique raffinée, sublimée par une vue spectaculaire sur Capri illuminée la nuit. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

This hotel was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and a peaceful, serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool area was a true oasis—surrounded by lush trees and flowers, with only the soothing sound of cicadas. The walk to the hotel is quite steep, but well worth it for the experience. Plus, there’s a luggage transport service available for a fee.

Fantastiskt hotell med en utsikt som slår det mesta. Väl värt den långa vägen upp. Se till att meddela hotellet att ni vill ha hjälp att få bagage levererat från hamnen upp. Detta ingår i priset. Otroligt utsikt men på bekostnad av logistiken. Ligger högt upp i ”bergen” så packa lätt och ha bekväma skor. Stor härlig terrass med egen jacuzzi som gjorde vistelsen så värd. Rekommenderar för den som har tid och ork att bestiga några höjdmeter

This property was by far the highlight of our trip. The staff was amazing, the views were unparalleled and the food was phenomenal. The only criticism I have is it could be better marked. We did not want to leave. This hotel is a gem.

Very kind staff ! Great accomodations . Very quiet area. Be prepared for lots of steps and walking. This is not centrally located but you can pay a porter to bring bags to and from port for a fee. They do help with bags once you get to hotel . Not very crowded but breakfast is good

Pretty good value for money. Not quiet 5 star as advertised. It is a 20 min walk minimum from the main piazza and very steep so not good for those that can't walk a lot - this isn't obvious from the ads.

Beautiful property. We had so much fun. Every member of the staff is so sweet. The views of the sea from the pool, dining patios, and rooms are unbelievable. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. Top notch! Will be back!!!

Fantastic stay. We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and we were very happy with our stay. The food and the service in the restaurant is incredible! Best food we had at Capri. The rooms are decorated tastefully and the jacuzzi was a big plus for us. Yes, the hotel is located high up on a hill making it hard to access. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone having problems with mobility. Small details were also missed that would be expected from a 5 star hotel but still a very nice stay.

JUST BOOK IT!

This place is a true, surrounded by greenery and cobblestone that brought back my best childhood summers. I cannot begin to explain the genuine care and kindness we received from the staff and even the other guests staying. My husband was having issue with the hills and walkway way up the GARDENER brought our luggage up. Its clear community here is important to them and working as a team. The staff also offered us a less glamorous route to a main road 15 minutes from the square and we were so grateful. Villa Lia was everything we dreamed & more, we plan on making this place our frequent stay.

In my opinion… this was not a 5 star hotel. The location and the view are spectacular and breathtaking. I enjoyed my stay. From my experience there are a number of things they could do to improve. 1. Be more clear about the climb to the villa. It is 14 switchback turns. You climb over 100 feet with luggage. 2. It was not clear in anyway that they would help you up with luggage. 3.there are no signs for villa Lia at via touro 11. There are no signs at the top if you should turn left or right. 4. It is not obvious at night that there are light switches for the climb. 5. I had no hot water the first day. It was not fixed that night. It was in the morning. There was no offer of accommodation or service recovery. I saw the manager the next morning. She did not check on me. 6. Staff who greeted me tried to have me pay 100 euro for “suite”. No explanation of what that gave me or offer to see room. If they have an empty suite, why not just upgrade me??? No sense of what 5 star should mean. 7. Waiter at lunch could barely open a bottle of wine. Cork broke for no reason. Young. New staff. Polite..but again… 5 star property should train staff. 8. Also wine ordered at 40 euro was not available. Offered others , price was 60 and we were not told. 9. No luggage rack in room 10. WiFi was poor in room. They accommodated w staff wifi password. Again the property is GORGEOUS. The staff did all they could, I just think there is a lot mgmt could do to make it actual 5 Star.

Avoid

Nothing really worked, door cards kept on erasing, the room safe didn't work, no cold water in the bathroom the first day, the jacuzzi was only cleaned when requested and then they run out of water, €20 charge to deliver food to the pool, the stairs to get to the hotel are horrendous, there were workers doing some construction constantly on their phones and smoking, simply put a very poor experience. No one seemed to be in charge.
