Beautiful hotel
We stayed here for just two nights while on our honeymoon, but we wish we had stayed longer. This is definitely the nicest hotel in Catania. The entrance is a little unassuming, but once we were greeted everything was perfect. The employees are very nice and accommodating. We were filled in on the incredible history of the hotel. Our room was breathtaking, featuring a jacuzzi tub and a balcony. I would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Catania.

Luxury and welcoming in equal measures
We had a fabulous stay! Victoria was lovely and welcoming when we arrived. The room felt very spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was just enough, with a variety of foods. Because there are only 5 rooms it is intimate and quiet.

this is a great property and the rooms are really nice. Please know Google maps did make a little challenging to fine but when searching for the hotel, please note there are two restaurants right next to it an Italian restaurant, and a sushi restaurant and you can use them as a guide to find the front door to the hotel.

Amazing hotel in the middle of everythign.
Hotel was one of the most amazing rooms we ever stay0ed in. It was a mix of old with original stones and things and modern as anything there is. In addition the location was fantastic. a short 5 minute walk and you are in the center or Catania, with tons of shops and restaurants. this was in the middle of the square. i would rate it higher then a 10 if possible. was a fantastic hotel .

The property itself is nice once you get up to the rooms there is no elevator but the staff was so nice he brought up all our luggage's it's one person who does it all. This is a very small hotel only has 5 rooms, but it's really cute once inside. Its right in city center which is great walking for anyone who wants to be right there, but Catania was too dirty for my taste.

It was comfortable and luxurious hotel in the historic structure or building. (I can actually see and touch some old arches in the room) The facility is well maintained and all staffs are really polite. I can't visit the restaurant at the ground floor, but it also looks great. The famous fish market even more closer than the parking lot(but the parking lot also takes less than 5 min) and Duomo & its plaza located just behind the market. However, supermarket is little far and its shortcut passes some dark areas.

We were greeted by a very kind and professional gentleman, Celso. He went out of his way to make our stay flawless. Our room was immaculate and architecturally impressive and soundproof. The steamroom/shower is something that I want built in my own home Bastio is a private sanctuary in the middle of where it’s all happening. It’s a quick ride from the airport with convenient parking in the prime location in Catania. The breakfast was lovely with fresh squeezed Sicilian orange juice and yummy vittles. I will always stay here at Bastio Suites. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you Celso! Hope that we can return SOON!
