My friend and I stayed here for a week, and it was amazing! The staff were extremely kind and made sure we were comfortable, the room was small but cozy, the location was FANTASTIC! So close to Paddington station, and a short walk from Hyde Park. The only thing I would say is that the walls were pretty thin, so we could easily hear our upstairs neighbors walking around. However I would highly recommend this hotel! Great price, great location, great staff!!!!

Small But Great Location!

The location was perfect! Steps away from restaurants and pubs. Paddington station was only minutes away by foot. The room we had was very small, but I had read other reviews stating they were small. There was no lift and we were on the 4th floor, but again I knew that when booking. If you are staying for a short time it’s perfect for its location. The owner was very lovely!

The staff are lovely, rooms could do with some TLC (paint, curtains, walls and bed surrounds could do with a wash) and are on the small side but do provide what you need (bed, hot shower, kettle, coffee, tea, TV, hairdryer...). Great location very close to Paddington station.

Excellent location, about 200m from paddington. Very nice staff. Room was small and basic, but did the the job and reasonable value for price paid. Absolutely fine for a one night stay, although maybe too small for longer. We stayed in the triple room with 3 single beds.

Ok, it's not a state of the art new room, but it's cozy and did the job for the time we were there. The absolute plus with the hotel was the staff! They were amazing and do caring, so we'll definitely booking in this hotel again in the future.

Good hotel to stay in for a weekend trip. The location of the hotel was convenient to get around the city due to it being to close Paddington Station. The front desk lady was helpful and friendly and let us know if we needed anything. Keep in mind the size of the rooms and bring your own bathing items. Overall, a good hotel to stay in to explore London.

We were in apt downstairs which was difficult to manage with heavy luggage. When we arrived the person at the reception kindly took our cases down for us. We were also able to visit with friends in the dining area. The hotel is close to Paddington and to various small shops and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is less than a block from Paddington station which is amazingly convenient to get to almost anywhere. The area was safe to walk around and lots of food options, and also a quick walk to many other sites. It's in a historic property, but we were able to get a room with an en suite bathroom. It was tiny, but functional. All the staff we ran across were very friendly and helpful. They have key fob access to the building and also the room, so that felt safe as well. We were on the 2nd floor and it was actually quite quiet. The beds were firm. The pillows were more firm. It's not all large, new and shiny, but it was very reasonable and quaint, and took care of our needs.

Very noisy from neighbor and hall way if anyone is waking up and leaving early. It is like a old wood house with no sound isolation at all. And We were not told is in the basement before I book. Internet is too bad I had to use my data all the time, and thre reception was bad in thr basement too. Only good is close to the paddington station.

Great location and friendly, welcoming staff. However the property needs a significant amount of maintenance - very dated and damaged. The shower in my room did not work as the water just leaked out the wall fitting rather than the shower head. The bedrooms having lino flooring meant you could hear everything going on above you and around you. I think a few repairs and upgrades could really improve this hotel.

the taps in the bath room were very loose. The toilet seat was also very loose. This should not happen. room was ok but did not realize I had to climb 4 flights of stairs with luggage even though it said floor 2. ( not)
