Special thanks to Y who i didn't get her real name for taking care of our daughter in the kids club and cooking class she made the stay memorable for our daughter. Quiet resort with great services, family friendly, in hotel daycare, pools with lifeguards, very high quality breakfast, high quality 5 star resort. Infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Stayed 4 nights, will book again if in Phan Thiet. Area under development reminds me of phu quoc 10 years ago, the airport is under development easy to get in from HCM but harder from other cities. The resort was at full capacity on Saturday so i would avoid that day if looking to relax.

kids friendly hotel, facility was clean as it has newly built. There was a small incident I experienced. I was in the club lounge and asked a staff if I could reserve a table for the Christmas eve buffet dinner. She told me, ‘no reservations are required’ However, when I went to the restaurant the next day, I was denied entry because I was told I didn’t have a reservation. I felt disappointed and asked if I could make a reservation at that moment, but reception told me it was already fully booked. Feeling frustrated and I tried to look for senior-level and 1 female supervisor (I guess) listened to my concerns and later sooner She took care of the issue, and thanks to her, I was eventually able to enjoy the Christmas dinner with my family. (I saw her was singing X mas songs in the Choir)

This is a hotel for elites with spoiled children that are mostly disrespectful. I have been in rural Vietnam for a week where the kids behave with class and are very humble. The kids you find at this resort are the opposite, a product of their parents lifestyle. Kids kids kids everywhere crying and yelling. This is not a peaceful resort. Don’t come if you’re a couple. So far, I would place this resort as mediocre at best. I am used to Western style resorts with much higher expectations. The restaurant serves subpar food. You will have to go offsite for decent prices and exceptional food while I do commend their staff for great service. I don’t think it’s five star. The rooms are clean and beautiful. I am just disappointed with the food service it seems this resort was slapped together last minute. I think this resort has been open for several years, which leaves me feeling perplexed as they have not ironed out all the kinks. If you are used to European hospitality or North American you’ll be a little saddened. The prices are exuberant for the quality which leads me to believe there is not much value here. This resort is great for families with children not really couples. We are about 15 minutes from the city which makes this not walkable. I would highly suggest eating offsite as there are much better options in the city. I just found out some funny information about this place. They will charge you 2 million VND if it smells like fruit in your guest room, but they will not

I have traveled and stayed several movenpick hotels and I loved every single places. But definitely I cannot recommend this place. Dining option is very limited, staff is awful. No one understands English and service is so bad. Gorgeous pool but pretty much that’s it. Nothing else to do, terrible service and terrible food. I will never come back and I cannot recommend this place unless you speak language or stay there only one night. This hotel makes me question Movenpick branding.

Fint hotell mitt i en spökstad
Kommer till hotellet och får besked om att frukost inte ingår för barnen trots att det på vår bekräftelse står att det ingår för samtliga. Mycket tjafs och kontakt med hotels.com så tillslut löser det sig men personalen i receptionen är inte tillmötesgående. Överlag känns personalen förvirrad och har dålig koll. Missar room service, placerar ut fel vid middagar etc. Hotellet är fint men läget är inget vidare. Känns som en spökstad. Stor gatan utanför som behöver korsas för att komma till stranden. Stranden ok men inte mer än så, vattnet var grumligt och man ser ej botten. Städpersonalen bankar på dörrarna innan kl 9 och skriker HOUSEKEEPING så det ekar i hela korridoren. Spelar ingen roll om man satt upp Stör ej skylten för det är sjukt lyhört så då hör man att de bankar på grannens dörr. Trevligaste personalen är killarna som står vid grinden vid poolen och delar ut handdukar samt tjejerna i barnklubben de är toppen! Positivt: Fina hotellrum och hotellområde Bra frukost Bra barnklubb Fikabuffé varje em som ingår (mest frukt och lite choklad) Negativt: Åt kvällens buffé en kväll och efter den blev dottern magsjuk troligen av hamburgare. Ingen ATM och många ställen utanför hotellet tar ej kort så ta med kontanter Spökstad (men det är ju inte hotellet fel)
