The hotel was very clean. Check-in went very well.
From there it was down hill. I'm 6'2" tall and the top of the mattress didn't reach my knees. Also, the mattress was not supportive at all. When I sat on it I sunk into it about 6". It was like sitting on marshmallows. With my arthritis, the low bed height made it very difficult to stand up. And the bed was so soft that neither one of us got a very good night's sleep. I called both "wake-up call" and "front desk" at about 9:45p. to request a wake-up call, and no one answered the phones. So I went to the front desk. No one was there, so I pushed the button, and Roberto came out of the office. He said he never heard the phones ring. The phone was ringing at the time, and it was quite loud. Roberto took my wake up request for the next morning. That went OK. Your rooms at this facility do not appear to have very good, if any, sound-proofing. I was in Room 108, and could hear any noise coming from the lobby --- TV, people talking, etc. That made it very difficult to get to sleep. Finally, the full breakfast on Thursday morning was just fine. All in all, I think I'd have to think twice before I ever booked another room at a Holiday Inn Express again.
