My daughters and I stayed here for them to attend a concert at the Coke a Cola amphitheater. It made it easy to reach. We are all history buffs so the guest house was wonderful and the stained glass so beautiful. Great area for getting dinner and breakfast.

The Hassinger-Daniels guesthouse is delightful. Perfect for history buffs and those who appreciate historic homes. We stayed in July, and it was very hot outside. The AC was wonderfully cool in the unique and fun Turret room. Quiet, lovely shared spaces. Perfect for reading or talking and relaxing. Great proximity to Five Points South, Downtown, Mountain Brook, and Homewood. Wonderful stay!,

It's a beautiful property, but showing a little age in spots. Nevertheless I would totally book there again. This was my 4th stay on property. It's accessible, secure, walkable to restaurants and really charming. They could use some blackout curtains in some rooms, but it's not every day you get to be inside a Victorian jewel like this one!
Caroline, 1-night trip

Very nice place and grounds. A unique and fun place to stay.

This was our fourth stay at this charming, historic property--the first with the new owners. While some of the property could use a glow-up with new paint and paper, the basics are still there- it's comfortable, charming and clean. They no longer offer the complimentary breakfast, which was nice, but often we have plans to eat out anyway. The suite on the back (Room 6) could use some blackout curtains, but otherwise we were very happy with our stay!

Victorian feel neat atmosphere Know when they fiinish renovation the beds will be off the floor and on regular bed frame . Minor adjustments that will make major improvements curtain over the window in the bathroom for privacy and a curtain over entrance to Tourette room for privacy Do not use my name thanks

Charmed by the Hassinger Daniels House!

What a gem! This home is absolutely stunning—full of charm, history, and beauty at every turn. Thank you for the unforgettable stay in such a breathtaking and unique place!

The historic house is beautiful. The room, with it's high ceiling, large bed, great natural lighting is fantastic. I was worried about parking, but that was no problem at all. And the area is full of good dining options that you can just walk to. I would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful location. The room was very clean and I loved having a balcony to look at the city. I would stay again.

Beautiful building, location is within walking distance to Five Points area. Owners have done an excellent job of restoring this home.
Carla, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Very cute, historic house. The area seemed pretty safe and plenty of walkable food options and late night eats. The room did get a little hot and the beds were a bit hard but overall a good stay.

Cozy and safe

Very cozy and quiet stay. Right in the center of town. Has a private door code and locks on your private bedroom door. Very safe and comfortable new beds

Great Stay - Parking Awful

Place was great and near a good part of town. Literally behind a Chic-fil-a. Fun old mansion in good condition. But…parking was awful. Parking on the street is the best option. Parking area was tiny and difficult to manage.

Great place to visit

Was a great place for us. Location was in a good area and close to our reason for being in town
Jay, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We stayed in the Turret room and it was so cool! Two king-sized beds that were super comfy. The bed in the turret room was semi-private and the other one had a view of a tv. The bathroom was clean and nice. (But FYI there's a window to the room and you can see the person using the toilet from the room) It was nice to have access to the downstairs kitchen. We loved the neighborhood and how you could walk around to places to eat. There's a Chick-fil-A right beside the house, as well as many other local eateries within walking distance. Yet it was plenty quiet on a Saturday. I would have appreciated some decaf coffee as an option for the coffee maker downstairs. It was a tad confusing about where to park b/c the directions told us to go through the CFA parking lot to a back lot, and the CFA parking lot was closed. But since it was a Sat. we were able to park in front of the house for free. I think during the week you have to pay to park out front. Overall a BEAUTIFUL home and we really enjoyed our stay and have been recommending it to everyone!
