We stayed one night as a family of four and overall had a decent experience. The highlights were definitely the food — the sushi dinner was exceptional, and breakfast the next morning was equally impressive.
When you first enter the hotel, there’s a strong smell of sulfur and humidity — understandable due to the onsen, but still something to be aware of.
We booked the Regency Suite, which was spacious but came with only three beds (a twin setup and one extra bed) for four people. It worked for us, but for the €1,200 price tag, we expected a bit more comfort. Also, the property feels like it could use some maintenance and updates in general.
Beautiful setting and good service, but for the cost, the overall experience could have been more refined.
