Éloignez-vous du centre ville.

Séjour agréable, très bon petit-déjeuner et zone de piscine. Un peu plus loin du centre ville mais dans un endroit trés calme, le rapport qualité/prix est évident. Personnel aimable et à l'écoute.

Close to Fira. town

Few minutes on bus to Fira. Walk 10 down, 15 up. 4 levels, no lift but very helpful staff/porters. Recently refurbished 3 star.

Albergo carino vicinissimo a Fira centro

Molto carino nel complesso e camere accoglienti. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Uniche pecche sono un po’ di rumore proveniente dalla strada ( traffico non intenso comunque) e colazione un po’ anonima. Posizione ottima e prezzo ragionevole anche in alta stagione per questo lo consiglierei!

Quiet, with a nice pool, this hotel is a few minutes walk up to the wonderful view of the Caldeira and some very nice restaurants. Has a very good family room.

Would absolutely recommend this hotel to those looking for a lovely little family run hotel in the traditional greek style. It's at the top of the cliffs of firostefani so there are not too many stairs with basically all new furniture in the outdoor and bar areas. Its the little touches that make this hotel so special. Lanterns in all the trees and spread around the grounds, towels on all the sun beds and pool floaties put in the pool early every morning. This hotel tries hard to be charming and succeeds. The only negative would be we had a quite hard bed and there was a plumbing noise (that can be mostly drowned out with a/c).

Great hotel, nice staff.

Great hotel, nice staff, 15 minute walk to the heart of Fira. The breakfast included was simple and nice. The pool was a great bonus as it can get very hot in July. My whole family loved it and would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Das Margarita hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, gut ausgestattet und alle sind hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, das zimmer hielt was es versprach und war sehr sauber! Die lage war für uns super, das hotel liegt sehr nah an der bushaltestelle die einen überallhin bringt. Das frühstück und die atmosphäre waren toll, vorallem der Poolbereich. Die mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich , zu jeder tages und nachtzeit standen sie bereit um einem weiterzuhelfen. Es gab ein großes angebot an mietwagen, touren und auch beim essen bestellen waren sich die mitarbeiter nicht zu schade, für uns anzurufen. Insbesondere durch Efrem haben wir uns sehr aufgehoben gefühlt. Er ist, wie das ganze team, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit gewesen und hat unseren tollen aufenthalt perfekt abgerundet! Danke vielmals und jederzeit gerne wieder!

Great location and value

Fantastic location! Great value if you want to explore Thira town without spending a fortune. The pool was much appreciated and a very good size. The breakfast was huge and amazing! And, the management was welcoming and very helpful.

Great stay--Close to Fira!

This was a wonderful stay!! I spent hours trying to find a hotel in Santorini and I'm happy I chose this one. It's super close to the middle of Fira, about a ten minute walk, maybe less. The breakfast they served was so big and generous! Rooms were clean. Heads up, the rooms are tiny and ours had a little balcony, shower was a bit small, but we didn't mind since we were out and about most of the day and only really returned to sleep. We didn't go in the pool since we were too busy in Fira, Oia, etc. but it looked nice. The owner was very accommodating. We paid to be picked up at the airport (definitely the right call) at the last minute after a flight delay and they came in the middle of the night. They even arranged for our transportation to the ferry at 4am. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Efrem was extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was walking distance from all the action in Fira. Breakfast was excellent. We definitely recommand!

No frills hotel

This was a quaint little hotel. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was basic continental. Front desk staff was very nice and hospitable. The beds were not particularly comfortable. I felt every spring in the mattress.

Einfaches aber gutes Hotel

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und nur wenige hundert Meter von spektakulären Aussichtspunkten entfernt. Einzig die winzige Dusche mit einem Stoffvorhang, der sich beim Duschen an den Körper schmiegt, war nicht so angenehm. Das Frühstück ist einfach und wird serviert und beinhaltet eine große Portion des leckersten und steifsten Yoghurts, den ich je gegessen habe. Den Außenpool habe ich nicht benutzt, er machte aber ebenfalls einen sehr sauberen Eindruck. Das Personal spricht Englisch und ist sehr hilfsbereit.

We had a great time. The owner and his family and employees were very friendly. Small commucation problems, but overall friendly, helpful and caring. Good location and great price. This Hotel would be great for families with children, out the back entrance there is a nice little playground with swings and slides. Plus his pool area! Thanks for the great stay!

Management and rooms seriously lacking.

No one was expecting us so no reception and not properly checked in. The duty caretaker, Mr Yannis, (owners family) a while to sort out the shambles as there was no one on site who could speak English. The place had few guests but the rooms we were offered were horrendous. Dull, dingy and double beds despite the fact we were 4 women and had requested twins. The next rooms offered were a good deal better but a bad smell from the drains pervaded the air in one room. There was no hot water or showers except for a brief hour about 9am. The chocked drains made the bathroom flood when we I’d get hot water. The rooms were a bit chilly and the blow heating would not heat. The hotel itself was very nice out with the rooms. Breakfast was plain but nice. Coffee (1 cup) juice ( 1 glass) sliced cheese and ham, bread, cake and preserves. All served by Mr Yannis who was very diligent and tried his best. We can not fault him in any way. When a anagram did arrive on our second last day there was no apology for our shambolic treatment on arrival, only a complaint that she had had a request for payment declined by the card used to make the original booking. I was furious and pointed out that she had no authority to make such a request and if someone had bothered to turn up Jen we arrived that would have been dealt with. This hotel reception was deserted every night and had we arrived in the evening instead of the afternoon we would have been without accommodation. Not good enough. S
